Woohoo - Magazine has been on the phone checking my address. Cheque on its way in 4-6 weeks so would just reach me in time for Christmas if we are lucky.

Sunflower - happy birthday, hope you have a great day. Dunno what you gals have to whinge about really because I am half a century old on 29 November yet I can still pass myself off as 38:eek::rotfl:

I had an NSD weekend - I didnt switch the computer on either. I decided to start tidying at about 1am on Sunday morning too. I had been lazy with my washing up again so had a whole pile to do on Saturday, I also started sorting through papers and chucking stuff out. Yesterday, I cleaned out all my window boxes and ditched the old and dead tomato plants, I cleaned half the bathroom but did get rid o
f a load of tub of gloop that belonged to twerp so now I have a clearer second windowsill that needs a clean along with the sink and bath. I also made another start on the clean washing pile - working out what to keep, rag or charity.

I have to go and have something to eat as I need to be out of the house at midday-ish because I have this EDL course to attend..feeling rather scared and trepidatious if truth be known:(

Good luck for all your endeavours - also @Helen, I have found something out for you about hedge laying.

Gradually getting a bit more on track. Chewing some very tough frogs at the moment but they are softening.

Working on emotionally toughening up a bit as I think this will help me going forward.

4 and 7 on 27 November - having fun with Mr Thrifty as he is 4 and 8, and I get 3 whole weeks a year to tease him for being 2 years older than me :eek:.
