Oh MG you MUST pick some of the best lines from the Debitas thread in case he decides to harass you further. Knob head <rollseyes>

Marru hope the call to Fantasia goes well. Pity you've met killer cat I'd quite like to know what she's thinking and get you to maybe ask her to stop killing things LOL

  • OMG, MG, what DISGUSTING behaviour by that"baliff"!

If there is a next time, I would be tempted to tell him you will deal with him in work hours as you can't bill him for time outside the office, as you are a solicitor. I would suggest he ring between 9-5.30 so you can charge him ooh, say £300 an hour to listen to his nonsense...then still ignore him as your exceptional legal knowledge means that you are aware his complaint is invalid. And you will have a pen to hand to take his address for the letter you are going to send him regarding harassing communications and threatening behaviour, which you can then send to the police and see him in court. All at his expense. And your nice friends the judges will probably be presiding over the case. ;) (Change as applicable for Scots law).

Hi all just a quickie from phone to send Marru positive vibes for today.

Well done on the singing MG. Think you might need to tell him to 'Get out of my way,
I'm fabulous' if he bothers you again.

    All good here. X

Thing is there is NO WAY ON THIS PLANET he was a Bailiff. He was someone from the company trying it on is all. He certainly wasn't outside my parents house - and as the only number he has for harassment is mine I knew I could have some fun.

After all which company can get a Registered Bailiff to your door 30 minutes after you cancel??

Remember, I'm an ex-Stage Manager - can spot an Actor a mile off and this guy was BAAAADDD!!! And very ill-informed if he is going around impersonating a Bailiff.

Pleased your Mam managed to cancel the cheque, at con artist pretending to be bailiffs! That is awful! If your Mam had been on the phone and not you, she would have been scared into paying up again.

:mad::mad::mad::mad: vibing bad feelings towards these con artists.

and huge good vibes for Marru at 2pm. Will be at hairdressers but will be thinking of you Marru.

All the tradesmen I know and trust say that anyone who asks for money up front is dodgy. Asking for money for goods on delivery (e.g. Kitchen units) is fine, but they should have the cash to be able to fund them short term.

I've just managed to Hoover/mop/wipe down the dust on the landing, stairs and hall and waved the mop through the middle of the kitchen and utility room while I was at it. The house is filthy. OH is on his way over so we can discuss how we deal with the rest. The plasterer called in the hope he could come over today but there is no way I can clear the room. Getting it done by tomorrow will be enough of a challenge so I guess I should get back to it!
