Horace, I have baked wholemeal bread in my Remoska - I have the medium size one not the grande. I simply do the last proving in the round moska tin, punch the dough till it's all level then let it rise for 45 mins to an hour (ish depending on room temperature), then it bakes in about 30 to 35 mins. You could make it cob shaped... smooth round mound. But when smoothed out to the edges I know it's not going to rise too far and hit the lid.

I put the lid on as a dust cover when it's proving and then you can see how far it has risen through the porthole without disturbing it. When you turn it out, give it a few mins back in the Moska upside down to bake off the underside - sometimes it's completely done and sometimes it needs about 3 mins to dry off. You can tell by sight and by knocking on the bottom. Hollow = done.

I wrap it in a clean tea towel and put it on a rack to cool down. The bread doesn't come out loaf shaped of course, but it will keep you going until the landlord fixes the cooker oven.

Cheque eventually cancelled - then Mum phoned from MY moby to cancel the order. I have had the "surveyor" on giving me abuse for cancelling - and then another man saying he is a bailiff and is outside my house wanting to come in to get goods for the value of the order. So I recorded the rest:

Getting ready for parents' evenings tomorrow and Thursday - only 5 minutes each round here MG so you are lucky to get 10 mins!!!

Busy days but I quite like leaving work in the dark as it makes me feel like I've done a full days work (I am sure this makes me mad as everyone else at work is leaving earlier now the clocks have gone back)

Second coat of paint on the landing appears to have had the desired effect, so I can have a clean up after my early morning call and then put the furniture and pictures back.

Need to think what to pack for Barcelona too... Two half and two whole non-work days plus 2 evening receptions and a couple of meals out with colleagues... And there is a swimming pool... And I need work clothes for four days... Better check my baggage allowance!
