sounds like we're all Being Prepared for the winter and setting up next year's gardens.
By the way, dreams about pregnancy are all about creativity, growth, new beginnings if that helps.

ok thanks, so any idea why I was dreaming of having twins?

because you are a glutton for punishment :rotfl:

Maybe you have two great ideas brewing?

Got the desk up into my workspace ready for painting. I am going to be a busy bee this week. Also Dad brought me over some more trousers that he had in the attic - so DS2 will have size3, 4 and 5 trousers all in the same colour schemes (putty, khachi, navy blue and petrol blue) so I am hoping the knitting I am doing will see him through more than one size.

Sounds daft - but means I won't need to find a budget for a whole replacement of toddler wardrobe during the MFi3 challenge. I figure with one about to hit puberty I will have enough of a challenge keeping him clothed.

It does sound like we are all getting ready and prepared for winter doesn't it - a bit like spring cleaning in reverse:D

just found a dream website, dreaming of wool means Wool

To see wool in your dream, symbolizes warmth and coziness. You are seeking protection from loved ones. Alternatively, the dream indicates that you are being naive or gullible about some situation. Consider the phrase "having the wool pulled over your eyes". Perhaps you have been tricked or duped.

    dreamingof being pregnant

    Pregnant
To dream that you are pregnant symbolizes an aspect of yourself or some aspect of your personal life that is growing and developing. You may not be ready to talk about it or act on it. Being pregnant in your dream may also represent the birth of a new idea, direction, project or goal. Alternatively, if you are trying to get pregnant, then the dream may be a wish fulfillment. If you are not trying to get pregnant, but dream that you are, then it symbolizes fear of new responsibilities.

Glad your DS's prang isn't too serious Claire. I had two brothers who picked up knocks and scrapes frequently. They do grow out of it!

Great news MG about the nice goodwill gesture from your neighbour. These things really lift the spirits.

My shredder has just packed in, I think this is the third one which has packed up on me over the years. So I'm taking the unshredded stuff into work to go through The Beast - much more powerful office shredder. It occurred to me I can do this until after I move house, when I plan to have a firepit. A small ceremonial bonfire of receipts etc every month will be good fun.

Clothes tidying is complete and more paperwork required, but I'm getting there. By the end of the day the house should be "ready for viewing" again - Universe please take note!
If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke.

Sadly sometimes Happy people don't look upon pets the way they ought to. Where they suggesting having it put to sleep or having it rehomed? I've developed a thicker skin since posting on forums but then again I spent a fair amount of time in Discussion Time board in the early days

Agree - a contest between 'a pet' and 'a thing' should be very clear cut. The pet wins everytime. However we had to give our dog away - a contest between a pet and a child should be won by the child. (She was biting DS3; the dog I mean, a beautiful, mental blue merle border collie called Snowy and I still dream of her. We had her from a eight weeks old pup...).

Out of interest, was this post on the dfw forum?

  • I would rather eat beans on toast than give away my babies...

Although I do know mum and dad would look after them for me if things became critical...

I suppose some people have no choice, and that is why rescue centres exist... :( I got my babies from a rescue centre, and love them insanely (except when they decide it is time for breakfast at 5am and sit on my head to tell me so!)
