You have to let us all know where you are going to be and see how many of us you can visit in your yo-yoing :) I'm sure most of us would be delighted to visit you at work...

Hey Ho I swallowed a frog..I rang my mum tonight and she rang me back because she can apparently call my mobile for free:cool: Must admit she did say that I was a miserable s*d but then I guess I can be..hey ho. Still, she is making me lunch on Sunday, dad is still ill and feels the cold terribly (he is 6ft 1 and weighs about 6 stone) mind you he doesnt eat much which doesnt help. She told me that if she had known I wanted a slow cooker then I could have had hers (I didnt know she had one), I do have her large George Forman Grill that I have never used - it seems it was too big for her and dad and there is only one of me:rotfl: Good old mum has promised not to shout at me for having grey hair because she knows how expensive it is - seems she gets her hair done on the cheap on Mondays (pensioners discount). She also pointed me in the direction of two jobs but on looking at the particular charity website they actually have 4 jobs that I can apply for:D

Fresh pineapple freezes - I had some cheap from Tesco ages ago on BOGOF but couldnt eat it all so froze some, although juicy it tastes just fine.:D

    Look at Flyin Fresian indeedy!

Thanks for all your lovely comments ladies. So chuffed. Cheery it wasn't essential honey but it is typical. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hex yep but wont be shouting about that on MSE, you know what some folk are like!!!!

Had a lovely day out with Mum today and home to find all my travel details are through for next week. I'll be up and down the country like a yo yo! Was meant to be out for dinner tonight but have been quite sick so cancelled. Think it just the excitement of it all so I need an early night. Off to the BBC Good Food show tomorrow afternoon. Flyin Fresian found me a deal for half price tickets :D

Have a good evening all and yep Nigel is on!

Souk, is this the chocolate job? If it is, come stay with us, love! If it isn't pop around anyway.

  • I'm on fire today! Whooshed around the flat in 2 15min bursts (very small flat) and made it sparkly (well, relatively speaking to how it was before, not actually sparkling cos that would take a DEEP clean). Has to be sparkly when I'm working from home otherwise I get distracted by the chores. Got all my work emails up to date. I love an empty Inbox.

Walked the dog for an hour at 5.30pm and then knuckled down to rustling up kedgeree for tonight, potato & chickpea curry for tomorrow's supper & to freeze and celery soup for lunch. I'll load the breadmaker in a minute and pack the dishwasher to it's gunnels. All of that should mean I won't have to go to the shops for food until Sunday. Although kale would be lovely with the curry and I haven't got any green veg in the fridge. Maybe a quick trip to the shop with only enough cash for kale...

I'm wondering if I'm being so productive because, with you guys in my mind, I've got an audience to account to? If so, or even if not so, long live this industriousness. If I was like this everyday, Wow!:)
May you be safe. May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you live with your heart at ease.

Kids are at their Grans tonight so all is quiet - but for once I get to have what I want for tea and choose NOT to watch "In the Night Garden" at bedtime.:D

You should have said tmif... I'm off to London later for a haircut (I think... Need to call and check in a minute as they haven't texted like they usually do) so we could have met up!

Suppose I should think about getting out of bed...
