  • Congratulations to Souk and MG - amazing news!

So sorry to hear about your puddytat MG, in time the boys will come to see that he's not really gone as the memories live on.

Me, a big thank you for the input about managing my mad life, it is hopefully only for a few months, then it should calm down a lot. This weekend is the mega assembly of information, and next week around some work and DS on half term I intend to time chart it all - then I should be able to see where I am. famous last words...?

And if I could ask for some more vibes, my complicated work situation (I'm a crown servant) may be resolved. I met today a senior someone who could make what I want to happen, happen. He was quite positive though I know the final decision isn't his, but with his support I could have some certainty for a couple of years. Almost there....

Now more mundane matters - DS wants some tea!

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

Congratulations to Souk! :T :T What fabulous news. Was it absolutely essential that you were in your underwear to accept your temp job??  :rotfl: :rotfl: Think I may have got the wrong end of the stick :p

((((hugs and congratulations again to MG and family))))))

    Well spotted FW!

I'm still rejoycing in the perfectly, fabulously *ordinary* day I had yesterday, after the ludicrously complicated and downright bizarre week that went before it :D And now it's nearly the weekend :D:D

Ooh, meant to say cameras - I had an old Canon Pixma I (X? or P?) something-or-other for years - broke it and replaced with a second hand one from ebay for £40 (worth a look!). Dropped it in the sea in the summer, and replaced with a Fuji Finepix - £79 from Tesco. Didn't have chance to shop around, wasn't going to miss any holiday pics! :T It doesn't feel as nice to hold as my old one, but it's pretty nifty and takes a nice pic. You'll get a plenty decent one for £75 I reckon! :T

    Just lost my post :(

Congrats to MG, Souk and others...

... Off to do battle with my excel query so will post properly when i've won.

I'm not winning. And oddly, whenever I try to ask for help with the query, the post self-destructs. I need help writing an IF query. I'm looking for a word in columns F, G and H. If it's there (in one or more of them) want a 1 in my query column. If it isn't I want a 0. I have 1500 lines of data to run it across.

Better go and see whether I've got an old query I can adapt!

Done it... For those who understand these things:

    =IF(ISERROR(SEARCH($A$1,F1510&G1510&H1510)),0,IF(SEARCH($A$1,F1510&G1510&H1510)>0,1,0))

Yayyyyy!!!! especially Ofstead not turning up :D

Kids are at their Grans tonight so all is quiet - but for once I get to have what I want for tea and choose NOT to watch "In the Night Garden" at bedtime.:D

And it IS a lovely place - I've wandered off for a look around (in case I get bumped off here now that I am no longer a DFW) ........... but I'd like to stay here too please. There are some scarey threads out there.

Don't worry - I don't think there is an official person who bumps people's threads off. And anyway, you can always move back: look at Flying Fresian! :rotfl:

Hex yep but wont be shouting about that on MSE, you know what some folk are like!!!!

Had a lovely day out with Mum today and home to find all my travel details are through for next week. I'll be up and down the country like a yo yo! Was meant to be out for dinner tonight but have been quite sick so cancelled. Think it just the excitement of it all so I need an early night. Off to the BBC Good Food show tomorrow afternoon. Flyin Fresian found me a deal for half price tickets :D

Have a good evening all and yep Nigel is on!
