    Fab news Crickett:j

I have been out and about this morning but couldn't stomach a walk to the village to the credit union, my boots are pinching because I have been living in sandals all summer:( I have posted the items I sold on fleabay yesterday, payment received, feedback given:cool: Had to go to bank in the other village today to pay in HB cheque - withdrew £40 (some will be replaced as I needed money for the postage). Nipped into the Co-op and headed straight for the whoopsie shelf - sorry I could not help myself:eek:

6 x Harvester Petit Pains (long ones in a pack) 69p
    4 x Cornish Pasties £1.39
    1 x Quiche Lorraine £1.35
    4 x Cheese Topped Baps 69p
    1 x Kleenex Mansize £1.78
    1 x Apple & Blackberry Pie 89p

    Non whoopsie shelf items:

2 x Covent Garden Winter Vegetable Soup on Bogof £2.15
2 x Aberdeen Angus Beefburgers on offer 2pks for £4
    1 x Box 80 PG Tips Fresh £2.79 but had a 50p coupon

I rarely drink tea, however, there are times when the business club has their meetings and I am expected to provide a raffle prize - sometimes I buy cheap biccies in Aldi or I will provide a box of tea bags but only if there is an offer on:D

Most stuff now bagged separately and in freezer:cool:

Rang up about that telemarketing job and managed to speak to someone today, I really was quite cross because their advert states £6.08-£8 an hour plus commission but they really pay £3.50 per hour plus commission:mad: you only get commission if you make an appointment, if you fail then you get £3.50 an hour. Must admit that I was quite cross with this misleading advert that I rang jobcentreplus and complained about it. I would work for between £6.08-£8 plus commission but not for £3.50 per hour which is less than minimum wage.

    Managed a NS weekend too:cool:

    Well done Crickett :D

Hope you're feeling OK Souk. Fingers crossed something comes up soon...

    Today I have:

Dropped my mother at the station (she came down yesterday as she only has to go to work every couple of months - she's an artist - at it's more accessible from here)
Babysat for an hour and a half (15 minutes if which he yelled for, 30 minutes of which he slept for)
    Booked a waxing appointment
Checked that the local tyre place have winter tyres which I will pick up in the next couple of days (as well as some for OH if he checks his details before I go)
Done the last of my outstanding expenses
Hung up the cleaning cloths washed at 90 last night
Filled and set off the DW
Sent Dublin trip flight details to Dublin office so they can book a driver
Started looking at hotels for our two extra days in Barcelona

I haven't yet managed to get much work done :o and I'm really not in the mood.

Need to find and pay for some roadside assistance before the weather deteriorates. Plus pay the gardener, pay and write to/call the window cleaner, do a meal plan and write a list of house stuff that needs doing...

Oh... And do some work... I have two papers that I need to publish this month, and two to get written so that one can be published in November and one in December.
