I know this is a pretty cheeky question Dora - but what size is she?
Maybe we could knock up a few patterns for you to cut the costs? I have some girlie fabric that I could turn into skirts n stuff.
Loooooonggggg lie today - DS2 got up at 6am and I told him he was on holiday so if he was a good boy he could come into my bed for a cosy cuddle.
He did and slept until 9.15 - just had a precious morning reading my kindle, but now it is time to get going and get busy ......................................... yup!!! you've guessed it, I have plans for the sofa today LOL!!
Off she goes - full of productive intentions

Dishwasher and washing machine are on. Rest of washing is sorted. And I have a list. But outside is not looking very welcoming, so none of the options appeal! I always have problems working out the logical order in which to do stuff. I have a feeling that clearing the garden, then sorting out the shed is probably the correct order ... Followed by a trip to the farm shop for veg and a trip to town to drop of recycling I can't do in the village (tetrapaks, lightbulbs, batteries), drop off the dry cleaning and buy some coal.
The plasterer is now booked... He said he could come on the 17th but we're in Dublin for work until the 19th, so he's coming on the 20th. I'll need to clear the spare room (pretty much done), landing (easy) and hall (not too difficult) before we go. And the following weekend, move everything out of the study into the spare room so he can do that. I just hope I can get at least one room decorated pretty quickly afterwards, so the rest can be done when we're away in November! I'm hoping that my utility room will be done (fixing what the original workman did stupidly) while we're in Dublin as that would be a major job done.
My plan is to get as much done as I can by the time we get back from Barcelona in November, and anything that isn't done by then can wait until next year. I want to be able to put curtains back up, rugs down, and feel settled for the winter by then. The fire was lit last night, but the heating isn't on yet. Oh... And we used the new underfloor heating in the bathroom for the first time yesterday morning... It makes a HUGE difference for very little cost (it's so small that we just need to switch it on a few minutes before we go in, and off when we're finished).
I have also got to do some careful working out of how to fit everything back in as I change the old spare room (smallest bedroom - 10' x 6'7") into a study/dressing room with all our work clothes and suitcases in as well as my desk and bookshelves, and turn the old study (10' x 8'7") into the spare room with a desk in (so we can both work from home). I need something that will work whether OH moves in full time or not. And as he hasn't finalised (legally) is financial settlement and divorce I also need to work out how to make sure that his ex can't have any claim on my house or financial assets...
Oh well, enough thinking. Better get the gloves on and make a start on the weeding and deadheading and tidying in the garden so I can see what I have to do in terms of digging and mulching...0 -
I am tidying too as Mum is coming tonight!! Better get on with it.... My supervision went well, good critical feedback and good encouraging feedback together.

Morning peeps
I use healing energy all the time - I receive it from my chum in Wisbech who is a Reiki practitioner and I send healing thoughts to my chums whereever they may be, they say that it seems to work.
I learnt something interesting on BBC Breakfast this morning - it would appear that the electricity companies are giving/reducing (I came into the room at the wrong time) £120 to families on low income - specifically pensioners and mums with kids.
Pork belly now out of the freezer for dinner tonight. I have been tinkering with ebay as I realised that I had priced some items too low and those pricings have been revised. No charge for revising prices either. Some items have loads of watchers - my voucher for the room in Sheffield has 19 watchers and bids over my starting price. Even my once worn (evil things) Fit Flops have 14 watchers and bids over my starting price. Some items have watchers and no bids.
Today, is a day for applications, spending some time chilling and sorting stuff out (I have a lot of stuff). Have decided to sort the banking out on Monday as well as go and get my prescription, I can also hit Tatco with more LVs.:D0 -
My lovely Mum has just called to say she has found me some Winter boots - in L**L of all places - good thick soles and rubberised and zip up instead of pull on (Fat calves so finding wellies to fit me is a problem on a budget)
Merry Christmas me :j. I usually wear my walking boots when it is icy - but these will be great in the snow / slush / rain and even better, Dad says these are my thank you for looking after the dog. So £15 from my clothing budget winging its way to the debt in a couple of minutes.:T
Of to get boys their haircuts and then we can start our "lazy day" in earnest - LOVE HOLIDAYS!!!!

Hey tmif - nice to "see" you. Hope you are doing okay.
I need to have a consolidation day today - gather my thoughts of where we're at and make some plans to move forward decisively. Things are a bit blah and all over the place at the moment - information overload.
Off to do some decisive thinking....0 -
Glad you're still here TMIF. Great news on the boots MG. I have just located my nearest credit union, as I need somewhere to move my savings to. It's open on Tuesdays, so I'm going to try to have a look over next few weeks.
DW on again as there was a distinct whiff of smoked mackerel when I opened it... Washing is still on the line, but it looks like I might have to bring it in before I go out. Three of my tops have tiny holes in them, so I need to be sensible and bin them. Various bits of junk evicted from the shed to go to the tip with the recycling. All garden tools cleaned and oiled (this happens about once a decade) probably as a displacement activity rather than dragging the heavy stuff out of the shed...
Lunch is cooking, so after that I'll head out for a bit, then come back to try to get more done in the shed. It will make life so much easier this winter if I get my act together and organise it properly... It is currently set up for summer with fuel at the back and garden furniture at the front.0
