MrsBartolozzi - Mr F said on the other side he'd be taking it down and doing some work on it this weekend so maybe that's it

You're welcome to pop in if you want - but you really don't have to (unless you want a chinwag - & some windfall apples).

An as for leaving stuff on the door handle - I think it depends where you live & what the neighbours are like. We went to the caravan for the weekend & came back to find a parcel had been lying for us at the front door for 2 days. And one of the best ones - we had a boiler problem, man came to fix it - tried & failed. He came back - tried & failed again. By this time getting time off work was a bit difficult - so agreed with him to leave back door key under the blue bin. By the end of the 12th visit, boiler was fixed (every part inside had been renewed), boiler man was letting out the dogs when he came in & we had already said that he could make tea & stuff. Only thing he didn't do was the cleaning.
So we are lucky (& trusting & more than a bit foolish) especially when I hear about people having their roof lead stolen, & God forbid - their dogs stolen from their gardens.
So, I suppose this wee place isn't so bad.

Ah, maybe that's it Gemmzie. It just seemed strange after I clicked an email link. Thought some internet demons had eaten it!

I wanna chinwag - but windfalls would also be nice. Actually I want to see how big the little lady is getting. Will be collecting the boys tomorrow from Grandmas so could pop in on my way over the hill if you like?

MFi3 is down just now - Mr F is making it so the font is bigger and all sorts of stuff that we have asked for so I guess normal service will be resumed soon.

Suppose I had better iron this pile of fabric so it looks respectable for a photo hadn't I?? French lavendar colour done whilst I was out - and darker blue is in the machine now.

Getting close to getting the sewing machine out now - LOL

Who's 'your boy' MG?.........I missed it cooking spag bol (made from my newly created store cupboard, bulked out with oats, and enough left over to freeze yay).

Right now back to basics. I've been lurking for the past wee while rather than posting, basically because I didnt feel I had anything to contribute or add or useful to say. ITMS.

I seem to go in fits and spurts, and the past wee while, my life has felt like I've been lurching from 1 disaster to another. I havent, but it felt like was.

Hopefully now, I'm on a much more even keel - positivity being my middle name - and while I havent got much to say that is useful, just participating in the Matrix can be enough to make a difference.

So I'm back, and may or may not say much but Welcome to all the Newbies and Lurkers and De-lurkers. This thread is a roller-coaster of positivity. Enjoy the ride, and I guarantee if you stick with it, you'll be wondering why you didnt post, join in, much, much sooner.

Justin Ryan, Fantasia - he and Colin did over my Mums house in their first series of "How not to Decorate".

Loved the soup - but the next course was way to much btw.

He needs a wee lesson in keeping it simple I think.

Now - what t have for dinner as I am childless tonight - Woohooo!!
