She was packing on Monday for another conference but you are right she is normally procrastinating on here whilst packing. Sending your hugs Greenbee.
Dusty, I'm ashamed to say I've got 2 which I hardly use. A vintage Kenwood chef & a modern Kenwood processor with all sorts of attachments and gizmos. I'm going to make crumble topping tomorrow as I've got some apples off MIL's tree. I guess I use the blade attachment for that.Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -
I am buzzin like a bee round a honeypot tonight:D I haven't long come back from a meeting with Goldman Sachs and Aston Uni. Earlier this week, I found out about something called 10,000 small businesses - this is sponsored by Goldman Sachs amongst others to bring intense mentoring and workshops for 25 small businesses in local areas - in the UK so far the North East and Yorkshire and now in the Midlands. I rang up because this is something I have been looking for. Well, even if I don't meet all the criteria e.g. I have no staff but I do outsource I have been told to apply. I was also advised that if I was unsuccessful this round then I must (they stressed must) apply again. It would be amazing if I could get on first time around, it would mean attending fortnightly between November and March for 7hrs per day with mentoring during and for 6 months after.
Need to scratch around my 5p jar and my 1p jar to scrape enough money for a stamp - I may have enough in 2ps. I used the last of what I would call big money on the bus fare.
So buzzy am I, I haven't even had any dinner:eek:0 -

I use the blade attachment for most things:D
Once you get the hang of it you'll love it. Do you have the book which came with it for some starter recipes? If not you can probably download one on line.
I've done some ironing but loosing the will to finish it.
DH gone out
DS3 in bed
DS2 gone to bed with temperature
DS1 just got in from work and has a migraine
I get to choose what's on tv then. Outnumbered very funny as ever. Living with my kids in like living in a 24 hour episode anyhow:rotfl:The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Been debating whether to apply for a job that would be the lowest amount i've ever worked for? Answer is yes. People on these forums have done amazingly well on small budgets. I'll do the same.
Ok, so what do I want from tomorrow
To Do List
talk to plusnet
complete application for a job
do an hour's exercise at the gym
do 3 hours creative work in (1.5 x2)
weigh myself and post weight
find out how to add a quote and all the other bits others have at the end of their posts
find something green from freezer and make sure i eat it
take vitamins
research a credit union (inspired to do so by MG) even a few emergency pounds will decrease my anxiety i think
funny but just posting makes me feel better
Good luck on getting through Horace, sounds excitingIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
Emergency fund 100/1000
Buffer fund 0/100

Cheddar, for example, becomes crumbly and doesn't taste right. mozzarela, on the other hand is fine - particualrly the hard one for pizza. My friend freezes goat's cheese - which she buys really cheaply in COSTCO (this is one of the things very much worth buying there if you like it).
T'was a cheddar - won't make that mistake again.
Thanks for the advice again, though.0 -
