Should I cram pack my life with "stuff" for a while, or should I sort out learning to be alone.
You;d think I'd be quite good at this by now... Gah!0 -

i would do what feels right either way you will have to deal with the pain and upset at some point but do it in stages that feels comfortable for you.... maybe find comfort in a diary about writing the feelings down, on the other side you were posing the idea of discussing things maybe the universe stepped in to create a new path it may not seem like that now and it never does at the intial point of change when its out of your hands but maybe in a few months to a year you will look back and recognise the importance of this change ..... TMIF - I found keeping busy helped, particularly seeing other people. I was shattered as I was out most nights of the week (if not seeing friends, then at the gym or swimming) and away most weekends with people here occasionally to make sure I bothered keeping the place fit for human habitation.
Having said that, I haven't seen many people since i've been ill (I guess you find out who your friends are...) and the house is a tip. Very difficult evening with OH last night and I'm angry because it meant I missed an important networking event in London to deal with it. He's been to counselling this morning and it sounds as if it was tough. Lots of thinking to do.0 -
Hard isn't it... at least yours talks rather than just runs away though GB... x
funny side: when he packed his stuff on Monday, he took all my shoes (presumably by mistake unless he owns a bizarre fetish!). So I have to wear my trainers, it's a good look! Puffy eyes, work clothes, trainers (thankfully new and mostly black...!)0 -
TMIF, I did just catch up with your news and wanted to offer my support as well. It will be hard - even if in the long run it may turn out to be the right thing (well, it mostly does but won't get into the reasons here). This is known as 'the drama of adjustment' - happens always when we experience some dramatic change in circumstances. What to do?
Well, I have never met anyone who has the 'definite' answer to this one. Do what you feel like - but also act on knowledge of yourself. Are you an extrovert (taking your energy from outside)? If yes, you will need to meet friends and warn them that they will hear the story (or versions of it) a lot; the more you discuss it the better you will feel. If you are an introvert, on the other hand (taking your energy from inside) it is likely that you will need to be alone to reflect; and when 'you figureit all out' it will be time to re-emerge.
Meanwhile, do the simple things that please you and force you to look after yourself. Eating is very important - with me this stops in crisis.

Amen to that!
I've been trying to find who wrote that but Page 1 of Google search is completely taken up with your siggie :rotfl::rotfl:

I have it on a card with a Great Dane on the front. There is no accreditation.
So I now know how to get my blog viewed, just keep adding that saying to it and it will be found. Fab Google Search is great. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Ok
I have ds2 home from school, he woke up with a headache, wondering whether its the aftermath of a 50 min nose bleed he had in school yesterday.
Anyway I think he is wanting to movehe has started to de clutter his clothes in his bedroom that are either too small or he doesn't want.
So I have organised cash for clothes to come next friday, but anything with tags on or look new I will try on ebay first (when my lead arrives for the camera) Any monies raised I will give ds2 some but the rest will go towards clearing off my lowest cc.Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Doing well with one of our older challenges of cutting down on computer time. It is still a huge effort but is making a difference. Today for the first time in I don't know how long I did my exercise dvd (only takes 15-20) minutes.
I'm going to concentrate on an hour's paperwork now before my Mother comes to visit for the afternoon. Trying to have the mindset of I will enjoy her visit rather than dreading it.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Forest Kindi done and dusted - but it is now throwing it down and freezing cold to boot.
I'm in a grump as in the last two days I have had notification from Tax Credits people that they want to see evidence of my self employed.
My details
Type of work and nature of my business
Dairy of bookings / appointments made
Copies of Adverts places
Breakdown of hours worked per week
Invoices for any work done
Receipts for any expenses paid
Now that is what I call a full audit.
Then today a letter from Council Tax - basically looking for the same.
So I am taking this as a sign that I need to get all my paperwork shipshape. So grumpy mood or not, I call this afternoon as a Power Day to pull everything out and get it sorted.
Pop the kettle on and grab my timer - Officially starts at 2pm.
