TMIF - eat whatever you can for now and take it easy on yourself, lots of drinks and soups are a good idea, whatever you would normally eat when you are coming back from feeling poorly - I always head for a loaf of milk roll as it's small and easy on the stomach.

Claire - go for the house anyway - you don't know what's around the corner. We sold ours in 7 days cos we went with same estate agent the one we wanted to buy was with, and we said we only wanted that one - they priced ours to sell immediately but also got us 10k off the other one, there is nearly always room for movement.

Am slogging through the school evaluation paperwork - which is truly, truly dull and out of 33 sections I have completed 8 so far. Is going to be a busy old week.

Claire, we dont do negative on here :)

seriously if you really want that house stop putting barriers up. If they are splitting up they will be glad of an offer. How long has it been on the market for? Can you afford the full asking price and is it a good price for your area? If you think it is and can afford it then offer them the full asking price but request they take it off the market. A sure sale is far better than none at all. A friend of ours has had his house on the market for 5 Years - seriously. Wife still living there and I reckon she is putting people off so the hubby might be glad of a drawn out sale so it means less time with his parents. Win/Win. Likewise use the same agent as Dora suggest.

  • Had a long natter with some Mentors this afternoon - and whilst I was online knitted a beret.

Seriously impressed with myself as I thought it would be much more complicated than it turned out to be.

Chunky wool and 40 rows of knitting - so rattled up nicely.

Just the thing should Forest Kindi be chilly in the morning
