  • Ok can someone explain why I have 3 hours (actually 2 and a 1/4 hours 3 days a week) nearly every day and yet I still don't achieve anything more than before? I had all the grand plans of doing some crafting, half an hour of Shred or Wii Fit (although in my defence this week with a stinking rotten cold I've not felt up to it) and I've achieved nothing. Still not caught up on my accounts, garden is a tip, got DSs cake to make the end of this week. Time Suckage is a major problem for me. I know I spend time on the PC but I've really been trying to cut that down and it doesn't seem to have made a difference. Where am I going wrong?

  • Passes MG a slab of carrot cake to go with cuppa.

Bitsy, why not try to keep a diary of what you do during the time that you are on your own - this may help you identify where and what you are losing time to.

    Hi gang

Allowed myself a bit of a lie in this morning - well I did have a very long day yesterday and didnt get home til 11pm and then I allowed myself an hour to chill out before bedtime.

I spent a good hour or so on my application for dream job, just need to write the spiel on why I have applied for the job and that is taking some thought because I want write the best application ever.

Rang the docs because I missed my counselling appointment last Thursday (I thought it was this Thursday). I now have an appointment on 29 September.

Posted a bit on here and over there.

Tweeted and used LinkedIn to network with others (I class this as work).

Rung the bank to delay payment of rent until next week as second HB cheque not arrived (I hate paying my rent late).

Made a start on the spreadsheet for the job I have been asked to do - although I have not yet sourced companies but that will be an easy job (thank you Google lol).

More email marketing to be done.

TMIF - the temptation is always to go back to the person who left, I must admit that I did this with twerp who treated me quite abominably but I kept putting up with his excuses and January was the last straw. Oh I have seen him since, I bumped into him when I was in Harlech at Easter - if looks could kill I would be 6ft under by now because I was being chatted up by a gorgeous German chap, I was with one of my chums and she asked me who the guy was looking daggers at me so I had to say it was the lying skank I used to go out with:rotfl: As we made our excuses to the German chap, she started saying loudly how lucky I was to have found a new chap who is so much younger than me (he is a friend whom I have met once) bla bla bla. Well twerp was spending an awful lot of time rearranging the boot of his car and I swear you could feel the draught from his flapping ears:rotfl: One thing I did get from him later was a phone call which I terminated after saying how great this guy was in bed and far better than he ever was and blocked his number:rotfl: (I haven't a clue whether this male friend is good in bed or not and twerp wouldnt have known that:rotfl:). Sure I loved this guy but all I feel now is indifference. I got over him by talking to my chums about him and going out.
  • Cheers - cake much appreciated.

Now one last push to file the statements and bills in the right files - the good news is I have a huge pile of ideas in my inspiration box - so many possibilities.

Deep breath - and on we go
