    Oi!!!! Fine figure of a Scottish Man - semmit and all!!!

    Doesn't "Mary Doll" look lovely as well.

    BTW in real life he does scrub up lovely in real life - he is King of the Panto up here.

    Horace - that's more like it. Focus on what you do want - when you have it down to a sentence or two you will know.

    BTW just got back from BofS - apparently they know there is a problem, they are working on it, I am a priority and it should be fixed soon - so basically the same b*****t they have been rolling out for the last TEN days. Ten days without access to my banking is making me very nervous I can tell you - I wonder if they want rid of all the "free" banking customers because that is what it feeling like.

    MrsMoo:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: er no....!

    TMIF - sorry to hear that you are having a rough time, I ditched my ex BF in January after discovering he had been playing away, I then uncovered more stuff about him and his lies after that. At the time I didnt know what to do but then I sat and remembered that I was too good for him in the first place and good riddance to bad rubbish. Thankfully, he didnt live with me although he moved a load of his tat in - some of which he had back and some of which will be sold (I have about 28 creepy horror films that I have never watched and don't intend to watch). I live on my own which was a bit scary at first but now I am happy (although skint). I know that I cannot have a water meter fitted in my flat but my water company has put me on a single person's allowance because I don't use much water - the washing machine goes on once a week and I have even been known to handwash stuff in the bath or the kitchen sink.

    MG is right you need to eat something - cuppasoups are good because it is like a hug in a mug and you can drink them slowly.

    When you are on your own you can please yourself what you want to eat too and when you want to eat it - I have been known to eat cereal at night and have soup for breakfast.

    It might not seem like it now but it is a chance for you to move on and grow within yourself, be the person you want to be and not the person you got moulded into.

    I emailed the council tax people, and they've sent back an auto resonse.

    Eating... hmmm.... a lovely idea, 'til I get the food in my mouth... then it's well... I am having a soup. I will force it down.

    Now, does anyone have a peppa pig knitted toy pattern, or link please. I can't see much on googly woogly. I fancy some knitting, and I know a child who would want one

    Off to the poundstore with you woman - £1 on a set of measuring cups and you will be sorted. Much better than faffing around with a calculator and converting.

    Mind you I have handwritten recipes in old money, new money and cups - but I love my bright pink plastic cup measures - scoop n go.

    Whoop whoop whoop, just had a chum ring me (she was concerned that I was having a bad day) and she then asked me to do some research work for her, only 3hrs looking up reasonably sized companies in Berkshire in exchange for money 3hrs work @ £10 an hour = £30.00 (the work is dead easy and I don't want to take advantage of our friendship either).

    But it doesn't stop you putting an offer in. Just be honest, say you are offering X pending the sale of your house. Depends how they want to approach it. If they haven't found anywhere yet they could accept your offer and start looking themselves. They may agree to accept and stop any viewings or accept and still continue to show people around.

    If you really want it get that positive head on. Make an offer get your house up tomorrow. As somebody else said, Whats for you wont go by you.

    I did that on the Austrian property and I got it (ok, I am still not there yet but I have it and its there for when all of my ducks are lined up).

    Feel the Fear and do it anyway. You have nothing to lose by offering (we are not in Scotland or Austria and so an offer is not binding)and everything to lose by not offering. Just be honest with the vendors that you have to sell your house and let them decide what to do about it.
