Like this one? You've even got a friend with you.

Did you see Bang goes the Theory last night? A good piece on how different wavelengths of light affect us. Outdoor light in the morning helps set our body clocks and the blue wavelength in the light from our PC screens also tells our body it is time to get going - therefore we should avoid PCs late at night.

It sounds like one of those 'things one would do in an ideal world' but we're going to experiment with going out for a walk in the morning instead of the afternoon and see if it helps. It also may explain SAD and that people who put the lights on in the evening say they don't help.

I want to know more. My body clock needs new batteries.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Hi MG - we bank with them presume you mean HBOS rather than RBS? If its HBOS they were doing some big upgrade weekend before last and there were probs with online banking for a few days but it seems to be all sorted now. I looked at our mortgage online the day after the upgrade and I got VERY excited as it had gone down by £2500 overnight all on its own  turns out there was a glitch and that was it minus the interest :p.

I'd ring them if you are still having probs and it is HBOS

TRied them again this morning as still nothing - that is way over a week. Someone in IT will not be getting a bonus I think:D

does anyone know whether I can freeze rice pudding?

As covered before -but I freeze mine in a silicon muffin case (like I have been doing with the soup blocks) and that gives great portion control.

DS1 can have one for lunch - or two in the evening for supper if he is needing topped up.

With the greatest respect - and bear in mind I am a Scot and therefore genetically reprogrammed to run away at the sound of the word "Tory" .................................. but ...................

IMHO - she could have been done with a few more hours to realise the poll tax decision would have ruined their chances politically for yonks.:rotfl::rotfl:

BTW Churchill used to be rumoured to do the same - but reading his biography he used to g to bee in the afternoon - jammies and all!!!

Brain wise - don't think 4 hours is really sustainable for to long hon.
