Gee, I feel like I've been hit by a train!! Wow!

Hi gang

Hope you are well? I admit to lurking via my mobile phone over the weekend but didn't log onto my computer. I met with Marru too which was ace - she and I are on the same wavelength.

I spent some of yesterday sorting out my papers for the Housing Benefit people, I have now sent them what they have asked for along with a letter so fingers crossed I will be allowed to continue otherwise I shall be homeless:o

More job applications being done today.

Has anyone heard of funeral potatoes? I know it is a strange thing to ask, I spotted that an events person that I follow on Twitter was on about providing funeral potatoes for a wedding so I had to ask what they were. Funeral potatoes are a mormon dish and from the sounds of it it is quite easy to make:

Sliced potatoes, chicken soup (layered) then topped with cheese and cornflakes and baked in oven for 50 minutes.

Hope you have a fab day today. I shall be disappearing off and doing a spot of work, application writing and cleaning the bathroom.

Things todo:
Cook up fridge "foodie" bits for freezing.
Start 15 cleaning hits.
Go to post office and bank.
Go out for walk with ds.
Decide on my new super-hero persona.

Try to take it easy tmif, I hope you have someone at work who can support you.

Need to get a wiggle on.

LOL me too, normally I can witter away like anything but am just feeling subdued at the moment. Still least it means I am getting stuff done, I even wiped out my "under the sink" cupboard this morning.....hasn't been done for at least 7 years :eek:

Feeling bleurggh today, just psyching myself up to make a phone call.

I have at least washed my posh jumper (boy does it hold water) and it is now drying flat over the bath - I was hoping to wear it tomorrow but it is sodden so I shall have to wear something else.

I feel that it is time to start looking for a man because I am fed up of being on my own so I have signed up on a site where I am likely to meet like minded people.

HB stuff done and sent off, washing jumper done - attempts to get people to event done. Supposed to be going to a business show tomorrow, however, I am disinclined to go because there is no parking at the venue and I would have to park on a side street - don't fancy it myself because the area is well dodgy.

Have been investigating jobseekers allowance too - rather I have been looking at the website, I havent actually picked up the phone to them yet.
