Oh well never mind then, can just be frugal 'on me tod' as they say round here. Can't really give the other side the time it needs cos I can usually on pop on for a brief hello most days (although if I manage to win the lottery without even doing it then obviously I will be able to stay at home and natter:p)
Wall rebuilding permission has finally been officially given and builder will be in touch in next few days - so now going to spend weekend gutting rest of garden so please positive vibes for sunshine to get it all sorted before builder sets a start date.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

I finally seem to have a bit more energy, so have just been through my handbag drawer (kept in a chest of drawers in the hall, with outdoor stuff in it). It's one I frequently forget to look in:o and so hardly use the contents. So the pretty bags bought years ago to match wedding outfits are going. So are some of the others that I know I won't use. Some were gifts that I need to keep (why does my mother give my brown handbags? I mostly use a purple suede backpack...) and I have three of my grandmother's handbags that I want to keep.
All my running and gym kit is packed into the space that has been freed up, as I can't see myself using it anytime soon, and I should be able to keep it tidy when I do, as at any one time most of it is in the wash. So lots of space now for walking stuff in the middle drawer, which will free up room upstairs if I bring down the fleeces I don't use day to day.
Now to go through hats/gloves/scarves... And even if OH doesn't move in, I'll have freed up some space...0 -
Grenbee youa re sounding so organised - I am drowning under a sea of notes, notes, mindmaps, knitting, sewing, crochet ....................

Hello Matrixettes!
It's been a long time - but I am back at last and have found you again! Sorry but there's absolutely no hope of ever catching up on the 150-odd pages I missed, I'll just have to jump back in again here.
I have missed all the cheery chat and the inspiration and motivation so I hope you'll have me back!0 -
I am not having a good day, my recycling bin has disappeared
I really really don't want to have to buy a new one

MG - I am NOT organised, as the house is in a constant state of upheaval with all the work that needs doing (I MUST call plasterers tomorrow), so its probably a good thing that OH hasn't moved in yet (although I will need him to decide whether he is actually moving in once the ceilings and floors are done so I can decide how to put everything back). I have just emptied the scarves etc onto the floor... Since I stopped going into the office I don't use them so much, but I probably do still need them occasionally. Even the old school/uni scarves are handy when I have lots of visitors and we're going for a walk. I just need to think sensibly about what goes where. Smart coats are in the hall and walking stuff by the back door, so maybe accessories should be split up in the same way!0
