  • Bit shell-shocked here this morning - oh is back at work and a very glamourous young lady has started 6th form this morning.

Ds has requested that we go for a walk and visit his favourite cafe. He hates C*sta, St*rbucks and the like - too busy, too hot, too noisy, too many people and too commercial (his words). So we go to a local market cafe which is real and has soul (again his words).

Thrifty - inspiration needed here - environment is rather - erm! boy orientated (apart from my pink kitchen)

My environment is also boy's toys orientated (apart from one 16 year-old girl hell-hole)....I am surrounded by Star Wars, Sonic, Zelda, Alien, Terminator - just think the office in the IT Crowd and you'll get the general idea. So I am on a mission to reclaim parts of the house as I am being squeezed out - I think the overall look is going to be eclectic rather than show-home :rotfl:.

Have a good day all and hope today is a better day for Crickett and Marru. Later peeps, Thriftyxxx

  • I'm choosing to see the positive here,

    Mortgage Statement in:

    Total owed: £124519.82
Time to pay 21 years 4 months:rotfl::rotfl: (We know something they don't know)
    Percentage paid 1.2% :T:T

I'm tempted to do a PAD of £19.82 to bring it down to a nice even number though??

If £19.82 sounds like pushing the boat out a bit far, you could put in £9.82 and still get a nice 0 at the end? I do think PADs are a big boost to the spirits!
