Erm, ladies, how long past the sell by date do you think it is safe to use an unopened box of risotto rice?
I'm not sure if it hasn't 'swollen' a little, though, so perhaps I'm just best to throw it...0 -

BF and I worked hard yesterday. Some order has been restored. I shall put some before and after pictures on my diary later today.
Aims for today:
- scan and email x stitch
- store my threads neatly
- pull all the paperwork into one pile
- separate from that pile those needing action
DDs room is only one that is completely out of control but I shall tackle it on Saturday when she is out with her dad - insert evil laugh here....
Oh and so far one bin bag of clothes for CS and one bin bag of clothes for rags. And lots and lots of cardboard boxes for recycling :j"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I have no idea when the sell by date for my risotto rice is/was as I decant it into a glass jar. Ignore it, and enjoy some nice risotto (shout if you need ideas).

Ditto, me, though mine is a plastic tub as it is lighter for taking in the caravan. We had risotto last night. I had the remainder cold for breakfast. Yum yum.
