Hi Livvy,
I really am not loving this weather! Now my wellies are leaking aswell I am very unhappy!!!
Oh no cant believe the house viewing cancelled, very annoying .
Yes you defo do need to starting thinking positively, just think of everything youve achieved so far... that should make you smile

Thanks Mummy, I am feeling a bit more positive today. I was thinking last night that is has been nearly 5 months since ex and I split for good...and I have survived.

I am also a lot better off money wise than I have ever been before and thank god I saved so much money over the last year because its really coming in useful.
One thing I am also liking is the fact I don't have to ask anyones opinion when I want to buy something...e.g. DD's hamster, we just went and bought it.
My car is in the garage for its MOT today, hopefully that should be the last of the repairs and servicing so it will give me time to build up my car fund again ready for the next time.
Positive for yesterday, I got a letter of my solicitor to say I wasn't liable for any of the running costs on ex's car as I am not using it....phew! :j
He is going round the house this afty to pick more things up from the garage so I hid my new lawn mower in the shed just incase he decided to take it. I also jotted down the serial number so I have sent the form off for my 1 year guarantee.
Thats about it from me. SKY is getting installed tomorrow, just as well as DD was asking for Team Umizoomi this morning. I think we have managed well without it.

Morning Diary,
Well I have had a lovely weekend and I think in my mind I am starting to be happier. I know things aren't perfect but at least I am wanting to do things for me now...I have been such a slob since Christmas because I couldn't be bothered to do anything, I still feel the same with doing things in and around the house (like gardening and decorating) because I will be moving so no point, but I feel its time to start looking after ones self a bit more.
I always was a very particular person where trying to look good was concerned so yesterday I had a 'me' day where I pampered and painted my toe nails (way overdue).
Saturday was fab, DD and I went to dancing and returned home to find the SKY man waiting. Once he had installed my SKY we then went top pick up my new wireless router from the PO. Then we spent 3 hrs in the Wacky with my friends and their kids. A couple of glasses of wine and some sharey food later, DD and I went home to get ready for my other friends coming for pizza and drinks on the night.
Grand total of spends for weekend - £30.
Next weekend will be a bit more expensive as DD has a party at the Wacky on Friday night and I am going out with DM for her birthday meal on the Saturday...I will also need to pay for babysitter. On top of that DM's pressie cost me £55 (a pandora bracelet), but it will be payday the following Friday where I can replenish pots.
Popping to the shops on the way home for a b'day pressie, bread, cereal and milk...and nothing else!!!!!!!

Hi Diary,
Just on my lunch hour so will do a quick update.
Have checked accounts and the child benefit has gone into my new account so am pleased about that. I have set up a standing order for every 4 weeks for it to go into DD's pot as I can only afford to put £120 in there a month now so that will tot it up to £200.
I had to leave work early and go to hospital last night as DD had a fall when she was leaving nursery with her Dad, he was worried she had broken something but when I got there she was fine. I asked if he went back into nursery to get it looked at and he said no and then this morning nursery told me they had shouted him back in but for some reason he said no, bundled DD into the car and went to the hospital.
Nursery manager seems to think its because he was embarrassed as DD was shouting for me.
Anyway broadband gets put back on at some point today YEY and I feel a bit naughty as I have bought myself 2 dresses.
Only spent £7 in Aldi last night...£3 left in food budget until pay day!!! Can she do it? [drum roll]

Am back up and running. Wireless set up so thats it now, all accounts in my name. Well all except 'fin car loan.
I have been dreaming again today about getting my new place and not having any debt except a mortgage...aw I just can't wait.
Watched Secret Millionnaire last night and the man on it used to be in a lot of debt and now he is loaded, there is hope for me yet.
Could I post on roll of honour wall then or would that be cheating?
TV is rubbish tonight, not sure what to do with myself lol.

Hi Livvy,
Yay to you getting the BB back on at home :j.
Oh no to DDs fall but im glad shes ok. Wonder why he didnt just take her back into nursery, must be like you say but even so you would have just taken her back in wouldnt you!
Whens payday? Im sure you will make the £3 last... dont spend it all at once :rotfl: xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Dairy,
I was having a good day until some one at work made a mess of something which I released to the business today...only affected 1000 people and had my name on it.
Boss doesn't seem to think its that big a deal but how unprofessional is it?
Anyway I popped home for lunch and left 2 letters for the delivery drivers on the door window as my dress and DD's glitter kids nail varnishes are coming today, whilst I was there I put the washer and dishwasher on and made my tea (pinaculty in 3 portions).
When I get home I will need to iron before DD gets in (hate ironing!!!).
Candles I bought from candle party have turned up and the lady from across the road asked if I wanted to pop over for drinks tonight as her daughter is having a candle party now. DD will get so excited if I mention it to her so will see how I feel. I am out every night now until Sunday.
Accounts are all OK.
Mummy,
I am not convinced I can stick to my £3 budget but I have enough meals so will only need milk and bread so I might only be a couple of quid over.
I don't know what ex was thinking, the nursery staff are trained first aiders !!!!!!.

Hi Diary,
Well I didn't go out in the end last night, I wanted to get to the bottom of my ironing pile before my busy weekend.
My dress came and its lovely, when I first opened it I thought...no way is this gonna fit. Its a size 8 and the waist is tiny, but its stretchy and looks fab.
Accounts are all the same...don't think they will be after this weekend though.
Ex dropped DD off last night and asked why I wasn't closing the joint account. He said, does that loan come out of there?' I can't tell you what I felt like saying but I said 'yes, and the account won't be closed until its sorted'. What is wrong with the man? How does he expect me to be polite and be fair about other things when he is making me fork out £229 a month for nothing...I don't get any benefit from it because he is driving round in the car.
Having wine with mate tonight who is also going through divorce and lives over the road. Mum has offered me one of her bottles which she got on 3 for a tennar. Saves me dragging DD round Mr Als.
Had salad bought from the canteen today for lunch...I am totally sick of HM sarnies. Going to have to get some ideas for lunchs which I can make at home.
I will start my Davina fitness video next week to get toned for the summer, when I looked in the mirror to try my dress on last night I couldn't believe it was my body.

Oooh LL you sound so positive! Glad you are pampering yourself.
Its amazing how much better you feel after a bit of nail varnish or new dress.
Ggrr to ex oh, sometimes I don't know what planet men come from, he reminds me of the time when I was on maternity leave and oh decided that he would have to out the mercedes (I didn't ask for but he decided to buy me!) in my name as he was sick of shelling out for my car and his car every month ( he could afford it mind you, he just wanted more disposable income!!)
Hense where my loan came from and it's ironic that it's this debt I'm hiding from him.
Im getting him back now I only work part time though! I'm constantly crying poverty and he pays for everything!

Hi Yellow,
Its funny that because ex bought that car about a week after I had DD. Wonder if its because they are jealous? I didnt want the car and so we ended up with two cars both of which he chose.
Yes you make sure you get him to pay for everything...Im going to get as much back as I can out of the capital for the house.
Oh I love doing girly things, just went off the boil for a couple of months lol.
