Good Afternoon Diary,
It was very cold when I got up this morning, I had to put my heating on! However under the 'new me' I remembered to turn it off after 40 mins, I am going to do an hour a night too if it gets cold again during summer. Its a new house so it warms fast and keeps the heat in.
I am glad to see the sun today as DD has gone to a museum with the nursery and it was dependant on the weather. She will have had a lovely time and I am sure she will tell me all about it in the car on the way home...if she doesn't fall asleep.
Aw Thank you for your kind words cloverfan x
Today I have had a free lunch (yipee), was carrying out some training and managed to also get an extra twix and can of coke for a later date.
I have moved the £80 child benefit (which I would normally have spent on anything and nothing), into my holiday savings and updated my budget spreadsheet with my ebay sales. I have a little interest in this weeks listings and its all on the items I have relisted ha ha.
Going to the circus tomorrow night...how exciting! Its costing me £13 as DD's gran paying for her.
When I was driving to work yesterday morning I thought I saw a camel in the field and it didn't register for a while... I was half asleep, when I looked again there was a zebra there too and a lot of other wierd animals, not the normal horses that I normally see in that field anyway. Then I noticed Jolly's circus trucks.
Off to pick up DD on my way home now.

Hi there,
I have finished the ironing and checked ebay sales...no bids and watchers are still the same. I am sure everyone is on holiday but need to get the summer clothes out quick.
Watered and fed my tomatoes and courgettes, tomatoes are doing fab but still no courgettes. My mum has 3 on her plant so they must be due soon, there are a lot of flowers on there for something not producing fruit.
Asked DH if he wanted to come to kids party with me and DD on Friday but he said no. Its because he is not keen on the parents but I can count on half of one hand the amount of times he has attended parties with us. Still am just going to let it ride and remember it.
Bank account is still looking healthy, only pot empty is cosmetics and hair but it is the first month I have saved and budgetted for them and needed things all at once, so next month I should have surplus funds.
Made a ham salad sarnie for my lunch tomorrow with home grown lettuce.
Car is in the garage for an estimate tomorrow, whilst I am in the body shop I am going to ask what is the best polish to get the little scratches out of my car. I am going to try and do them myself before the end of the summer.
All these little things take my mind of the big problems with DH...guess I will have to face them all one day though.

Morning Diary,
What a horrible day today...is cloudy and raining here.
I took my car into the garage for the estimate and the lady said I just needed some good polish to get the scratches out of the paint work, she said she will let me know about getting the paint chips out of the front grill area. Looks like I am going to be getting busy polishing my car for the first time in my life.
Checked bank accounts...all looking good. I have £91 left for things I haven't budgetted for and £40 left for food, plus budget pots are healthy. Freezer is over flowing with food too.
I can't quite believe I have money left 2 weeks before pay day, my budgets have actually helped me and I seem to have more money than last month even though it was the first monthly payment of my loan.
My spend diary is up to date so at the end of the month I will tot it all up and create budgets for the things I have forgotten this month.
Fingers crossed the damage to my car doesn't cost the earth.
Circus tonight with DH's family, although DH isnt coming as he is working overtime (MIL just told me). DD and I will have a great time.
Found a discount voucher online for £3 off ringside seats, so I will be spending a tennar!

WAHOO WAHOO WAHOO....the man from the car body shop said that may car only needs resealing and it is only £150 + VAT which is great considering I thought it would be £600...and I have the money in my car fund. Still billing the sales man though as the man reckons it was done in June 2009!!! Car was only born in July 2008
He said that he will look at the parking sensor and check it as it might be that this doesn't need fixing either as it might not be corroded, he is going to take it all apart and let it dry out.
And on an even better note, I asked about the front grill paint chips and he said he would paint it for me today for free!!! Nice man mwa.

Morning diary,
Another horrible day!!! I got soaked this morning and had left my umbrella in the office so had to wear my mac with the hood up, everyone was laughing at me in nursery...but my hair is bone dry and it hasn't gone curly which is the most important thing.
Circus was great and whats more I only spent £5 as GIL (gran in law) paid me in. So as a token gesture I bought DD and Niece a light up wand each.
Car looks fab and garage had cleaned it out and washed it for me too. Must have looked needy yesterday as some one at work has also offered to polish the scratches out for me one lunch time ha ha.
Today I am going to the PO to post my ebay parcels and send the letter to the salesman to see if I can claim back my £180.
Current ebay listings have more watchers on but that doesn't mean anything! Will wait and see, no point in getting my hopes up.
Was a bit worried about my tomatoes last night in the wind, so I moved them to garden room wall where they were a little bit sheltered and on inspection this morning there looks to me no damage.
I have meetings all day today so must dash.
Have a good day all

Afternoon Livvy,
Looks like youve been busy since I last posted!!
Well done on getting the money from DH for DD's pressies and the phone bill :T. What did you buy DD out of interest? I love ELC toys.
Thats good news on the car too re the damage. Have you got it booked in then? Oh right just read that its back looking fab! Even better!!!
Well done also on having money left over :T xxMummytogirls x0 -
Afternoon Mummy,
Thank you for your support. How is work? Are you enjoying being back?
I bought DD a carseat, highchair and bath for her baby and a Peppa Pig TV, which I have seen advertised recently.
Yeah I have my car back now because the man said he thought we should nip it in the bud there and then before it go any more water in it. The parking sensors seem to be working fine too, so hopefully all is fixed. And it will save me the petrol taking it back again. :j
I have just been to the PO to send off my letter of complaint and my ebay parcels.
Wonder if its worth us putting the winter baby clothes on ebay now....think we should save the summer items until next year

Morning Diary,
Had a very busy last couple of days so looking forward to chilling out tonight once we have been to the birthday party from 4-6, it should wear DD out so nice early bed.
My friend came round last night for a catch up and we got to talking about me going to Doha with DD in November and she said that she was going on her own in September. So we sent a quick text to the friend we were going to visit in Doha to see if she had the space for the 3 of us in October and she said it would be amazing for us all to go together.
So now I don't have to do the flights alone with DD and whilst friend is at work during the days we are there, I have adult company by the pool too. All 4 of us are so excited. Only thing is because I am going a month early I am £200 short, so this afternoons task is to do a bit of jiggery pokery with my savings. I have a massive payout for car in November too which I need to save for.
Was feeling a bit teary last night as haven't spoken to DH since Monday...kind of realising now its coming to crunch time. A friend had sent me a text to say I deserved to be happy and I felt all sad and had a bit of a cry. I have the best friends in the world and I love every one of them so much, I feel so lucky and I know with them I can get through this.
I need to buy DD some bathers for holiday and every shop have sold out of sale items aged 3-4! Asdas have some in but they are £6 each. I was going to pop out at lunch time and have a look on the rails but a tanker has had an accident and there is queues of traffic so will have to go tomorrow.
No bids on ebay sales!!!
