Morning Diary,
Well I feel a bit disheartened today. I have looked to see if the money I paid in has gone in the bank (and it hasn't yet), and then when I looked on eBay most of my stuff now doesn't even have watchers!!!!! One item has 5 watchers and 3 bids and another has 1 bid but there are 12 things for sale....where are all you bargain hunters? The Mamas and Papas stuff I sold the first week did fabulous and this time there is more gorg M&P stuff for sale and nobody wants it.
Anyway I have still paid Next off, will transfer the money into the correct account when it appears in my bank. I will not be spending in Next now until October....I will be shaking waiting that long! I MUST NOT SPEND...I MUST NOT SPEND!!!!
Hope Financial Advisor has some good news for me!

why do you need to buy anything new from next? how about charity shops or down shifting brands?I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Your totally right Chevalier, I only buy from Next as it is easy and delivered to my door and I can return them easily if I need to.
Well more bad news, my car has been stripped down to get my parking sensors fixed and when they stripped it down they found that the reason the parking sensor is broken is because it has been involved in a bad accident from behind and not fixed properly so letting in water. So I dont get a free parking sensor and I need to fork out to repair the damage.
Luckily FA said that I have some rights under the Sale of Goods act, as I only bought the car in May and the accident wasn't disclosed. I have been on the phone to Trading Standards and I am entited to repair, refund or replacement. They have template letters so will get onto that as soon as possible.
I just feel everything is against me at the moment. For the first time in my whole like I have savings and if the seller doesn't cough up the money then it could prove costly....so will be back to square one.

OK so bad day but light at the end of the tunnel, FA worked out finances and said if me and OH do split, even though he has left me in a worse position money wise now (coz he wont take me of joint loan) I can still get the mortgage for the amount I want even if we use the profit to pay the whole joint loan off....which I will make sure doesn't happen as have paid my part of the debt, and I have bargaining power in the profit from the house as I am entitled to more than I am getting.
I am not tied to him financially in any of the accounts he has missed payments on, only on joint loan, mortgage and bills and I control those accounts....so make sure I get the money each month. This then won't affect my credit rating.
The payment for my car will just mean I can't make over payments on loan for a couple of months but if I get the money back from the car dealer then will use that to pay them.
Ebay sales are shocking this week...is it worth the washing, ironing and listing? Will keep plodding on.
Tomorrow is another day...might win the lottery.LBM March 2011 - [STRIKE]Joint Debt £46k[/STRIKE]Current Personal Debt £0 :jGroceries £152.51/230,Pot Balance £1564.02Christmas Savings £200, £2 savings £240 -
Morning!,
Well feeling slightly less miserable today, one because the sun is out and two because its Friday.
Have been and checked my bank accounts and the money is still not appearing from the gold sale, so I rang the bank up and asked when I am likely to see it and they said Monday. I put cash in so was hoping to see it a bit sooner.
Big job of today, print off the letter of complaint to send to the man who sold me a faulty car without declaring it. When I get the quote from the garage I will ask them to send me it (fax or post) and I will send this in my complaint letter. Knowing my luck it will take an age to get the money out of the salesman. Either that or there will be something I have missed that will stop me from getting the money at all.
Ebay sales are still rubbish!!! Mind you the roads were really quiet this morning so my theory is everyone is on holiday. If thats the case then there is really no point selling the rest of the summer clothes...maybe should move on to the winter ones.

Morning Livvyloo, cant believe the money hasnt gone in yet, did you pay it in over the counter? When I do this it shows up straight away.
Hope your luck changes soon and you get the money from the salesman of the car. Thats a bit worrying isnt it, was the car from a dealership?

Hi MTG,
I have checked my account and money is now in. Its because I put it in the PO I think and the bank needed to receive the paying in slip. I thought with it being cash it would be instant. I was panicking as it was £50 notes and thought knowing my luck they will be fakes.
The car was from a garage that the man operated from his home. I have just got my friend to ring about another car we saw advertised on net with his phone number against it and he gave her the same address so I think the best thing is to send the letter there.
Now I will ring the dealers and see what the damage is...its probably too much for me to pay without me getting the money off the man. I was hoping a couple of hundred but people keep telling me how much their damage was and it keeps going up.

Morning Diary,
The weather is horrible here today, DD and I are still in our pj's.
I am going to cook a lamb hot pot today for our tea, I got a shoulder of lamb in the whoopsie section a couple of weeks ago and managed to get two bags of lamb from it. I make the recipe up as I go along but when I was on maternity leave I was watching Alan Titchmarsh and Rosemary gave me some tips of how to make it when she cooking in his kitchen. It has to be in the oven for 4 hours so will start at 12.
Ebay is doing great now...I have another item selling. They run out tonight so hopefully will get last minute bids on the other clothes.
My friend came round last night (she lives in Doha) and she asked if I wanted to go out and visit her for a holiday with DD. I have looked at the price of flights this morning and I am looking at around £800! But I will only need spending money on top of that so if I save all the child benefits on top of my regular holiday savings I should be able to do it, and god knows I need a holiday this year.
My car has to go back to the garage for another inspection so they can give me an exact quote for the damage, I put the money from the sold gold into my car fund so hopefully will come in budget, and you never know I might get the money back of the salesman.
I have 3 birthday pressies to buy this week and I bought 2 yesterday from Debenhams, I got a necklace for a friend in the sale £7.50, and some pj's for little boy £13. I had allocated £20 of the birthday budget for these pressies and it came in 50p over, but I also dug out my free delivery code so very happy about that.
I am almost ready to list some more clothes on ebay, ironed a few dresses and have a couple more drying to iron today. I will take the pics too if I get chance today and then all I will have to do tomorrow night is load them on.
Come on ebay make me rich!
