He wants one that you can just input the street name, not the postcode,
does anyone have any ideas as to which is the best and cheapest around that suits our needs.0 -
Saint Chris why go posting the same question multiple times?

I have been selling PSP's and Wii's for £30 each but I have none left, the info is useless.0 -
HI just got a PiN 570 from Halfords in Aberystwyth (about 4 left in stock). Seems a very good little unit - 5 digit postcode a bit dissapointing, but considering all the Pocket PC features it's great (particularly when upgrading from an old Sony Clie PDA.
Anyway, can someone tell me please how to go about putting TomTom Navigator 5 on it. Which package do i need to buy, and where can I get it cheaply? I've spotted a few pirate copies about, but I'm a little dubious of them to be honest. Feel free to send a PM.
Was considering the 7 digit postcode upgrade but apparently it's a huge POI file, nothing more.
Thanks in anticipation

because somebody in the the other thread pointed me to this page, sorry if that offends you. But i've seen other posts repeated when people need help.
And i wouldn't class 2 in 2 different threads as being multiple, more twice0 -
which is better at actually navigation- this or the Navman F20? - the F20 is only around £1250

Maps on the F20 are much newer (There are 2004 on the Navman PIN), but the PIN has the advantage of being a fully featured pocket PC and the fact you can use other sat nav software like TomTom on it.
So swings and roundabouts really, if you have a need or use for a pocket PC get the PIN at £99, if you just want a reliable satnav and nothing else get the F20
hope that helpsOver 100k miles of Electric Motoring and rising,0 -
Ok- I reckon I will go for the Navman F20 - Can anyone suggest how to get this at closer to £99 rather than £125?? e.g. discount code, joining a catalogue for a discount etc? Unfortunately I dont know anyone that works at halfords to get a staff discount0

So on the PiN you can add TomTom with 2006 maps and keep updating them.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

Quick question: can you play music _while_ using the SatNav software? I am thinking more specifically about TomTom6.
Thanks in advance.
