PICKLE!!!! *hugs* how are you? When I get fed up of something I always try and use a little bit more than necessary so it goes quicker (even if it means I lather up and wash my entire body more than once while in the shower)
Been resisting the urge to buy something by writing a list of the things I want to buy to replace the things that are almost gone (and that I don't have in my stash!) Next on the list is some L'Oreal Exfotonic to replace my TBS Pink Grapefruit scrub which is almost gone, and some dove body lotion to replace my lush vanilla dee-lite (which still has some way to go)Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Popping in to say hello! No outs or UU's. Lots of sample ins from the balloon fiesta. Lots of lovely Nivea samples. Am currently working my way through them!
Still no time to catch up but I am nearly 90% of the way through the blanket I'm knitting so I will be able to catch up soon when it's done. DH isn't sure if he prefers me being on the computer or knitting every evening.
Hope everyone's well and that nobody was badly affected by any rioting last week. One out in the shower this am.
Balance me lime and ginger shower gel. WIBA? Am quite indifferent, it was ok but not as good as my green people or philosophy ones. The jury's out!
Laughing at other people also trying to use things up faster. I sometimes try to finish something off when its not quite ready, but by the time I've realised there's enough for another use, its too late and then I've totally overdone shower gel/shampoo or whatever! Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Trudij hugest *hugs* to you. I didn't understand the post when I read it so sorry
Boots are loving me at the moment, received a lipstain to test so another IN.
Pinkfluffybabe I'm the same. I use a bit extra of something to try to UU, then realise there's more than I thought
Hugs to everybody who needs them and thank you for all the kind words for my sister. I had to take the kids round and sleep with them as my sister had gone to visit our uncle who's very ill, and I was absolutely terrified of entering the house and going upstairs. I stayed on the phone to my sister throughout
I bought some nail stickers from the 99p store, but not including thoseNo buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

Just popped in to offer virtual hugs to Trudij for Percy and Sawan for her sister. I escaped the rioting - just - the shop around the corner from me was completely burnt out, and the flat above it too.
Toiletries-wise, I don't seem to have used anything up for ages - I keep chopping and changing things so that's probably why! I did finish a Lush Melting Marshmallow Moment bath melt last night. WBA - love this one, it smells lovely, I could still smell it this morning when I went to have a shower (don't know if my male housemates will be too happy!).Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

I sooo need this thread. I dont know if I can even face making my stash list lol
But am signing up to not buying any toiletries in August, may even be strong enough to go through the hoard. Writing it down may give me a push to de clutter and use them up.

Welcome Newbies :hello:
Well - I'm feeling a little better after the weekend from hell  Couldn't eat for 2 days and am slowly losing the dizziness. Still feel sick but it's managable now. I've come to the conclusion that I am just sensitive to medications - I always get every side-effect going *rollseyes*.
I haven't left the house so no IN's :rotfl: I have one UU: S&G Clean Mary 180ml: WIBA?There's still some on ebay and I have a couple in stash but yes! yes! yes!
I realised this weekend what a good CTM routine actually does for my skin. Because I've been so _pale_ I've just been giving myself a wipe-over with a face cloth. When I finally had the energy yesterday to do my face properly it was really dry and flaky  Thankfully no lasting damage but I'm going to do a moisturising face mask tonight to give it a boost
Hope everyone is well :A0 -
I'm pleased you are feeling better Sarah, the dizziness is another known Tramadol side effect. DS did get that, he described it as 'like being drunk, but without the incoherence.'
DS made me laugh last night, I told him I was being sent some 'stain remover for whites to trial' and quick as a flash he quipped 'Isn't that Ethnic Cleansing?'Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
My skin is so spotty at the moment.
I'm using Clearasil because I have oily and spot prone skin but I haven't washed my face in a few days (I have M.E so the smallest things either leave me with no energy or I don't have the enegry to do them in the first place) and today is the first time in a few days that I've managed to wash my face so wondering if the spots are related to that.
Anyway, two UUs to report:
Imperial Leather Foamburst Shower and Shave Vanilla - WIBA? - Yes, definitely. This is my staple shower gel. I love it. It lasts for ages, smells good and foams up nicely. I don't have any more in my stash though so will buy some when I've used up the rest of my shower things.
Johnsons Body Care Dreamy Skin Relaxing Body Cream - WIBA? - Yes! It smells gorgeous and leaves my skin feeling lovely. The pot lasts for ages too and the pot is purple, and because I have a little obsession with all things purple, I've washed it out and I'm going to keep it.:o2019 Wins
