OH's grandmother died yesterday. He's taken it really badly The old dear was 101 and hadn't been 'grandma' for over a decade (IYKWIM?) but everyone seems very suprised that her time had come. Good ol' B tho - she waits until her family are on holiday in all 4 corners of the earth and calls them back together for one last time. RIP :A

No toiletry news here - very boring I know

trudij - so sorry to hear that, but I'm sure you'll give him all of the love in the world in the coming months. I don't have a dog myself but my other half's family does & I'm so close to him, so I can sympathise with how you must feel. Lots of love being sent your way! XX

trudij - Poor thing, i am sure Percy will love the being spoilt and will appreciate you all the more for it.

Do people think i a cheating/ not keeping in the spirit of the challenge if i throw out a lot of stuff? Its mainly hotel minis that my ex-OH used to bring home for me, i have been using them but my hair has turned from being in lovely condition to a frizzy dry mess. I am sure its in part due to me using these bits up. Or does anyone else have suggestions for where they could go?

They almost got my mum a few weeks ago but I dragged her away by the arm like a naughty child before she could agree to buy it:rotfl:

I know that there's a FB swapsies group. When you swap toiletries you don't want with other people for ones that you do want. That might be an idea.

Not sure who you have to PM for the link though.:o

I got caught out by a nail buffer / cuticle oil / handcream seller in a shopping centre. Even worse, she persuaded me to buy 3! Gah!

I donated one to a raffle, gave one to my mum, and am still using the other. The oil is never ending and will probably be passed on after I die. The handcream is at work and I invite every woman passing to use some. One day it might count as a use up!:rotfl:

I am up for this challenge in August too.

Great start to August with 2 UU's to report:
S&G Hair supply, ok product but wont buy again
Clarins skin smoothing eye mask, I have must have had this product for at least 10 years and used it once week since then. Did the job for me. Now I am using a sample size of origins eye mask.

Off to catch up with the thread now.

I will continue to use up my "Summer products" that I know that I don't want to use this winter.

Sorry to hear about Percy Trudij.

One UU for me: Harajuku lovers-love perfume. WIBA? No, probably not, quite a strong scent.

I'm using the handcream RE the shopping centre pressure sales nail kits, its quite nice, has a scent that reminds me of something nice, plus it soaks in lovely, and leaves my hands silky. Not a complete waste then...

I'm also using "summer products" just now too, and listed bits on ebay, plus a few swapsies on FB! yay.

The stash list is my current LHJ!! Haha. Only got make-up and nail polish to add now!
