talked to DS3 and emailed his girl........modern problems of men expecting girls to live together with no promise of marriage...girl is old fashioned (which I like) and wants commitment plus living apart due to work...hope they work it out0 -
I have a couple of UU's to report from my trip away to Alton Towers, it was an adrenalin packed couple of days and the kids loved it! 2 x sample sachets of face cream, one R'oc and one Nivea both with SPF 15 which I was glad of in the lovely sunshine we had!
Off to catch up!0 -
Hey everyone. I hate it when I set a goal for myself and than fail! I set myself the goal that I would wash my face both morning and night. I have M.E which means that there are alot of things I can't do/don't have the energy to do, which includes self care.:o Hoping to restart that goal and succeed!
Anyway, some UUs to report:
Nature Organics Soothing Shower Gel sachet x 2 - I got these as samples from LatestinBeauty. I wouldn't buy them. I really didn't like the smell of them at all and nice smells are important to me.:o
Crabtree & Evelyn Lily Body Lotion sachet - Again, for this as a sample and didn't like the smell either so wouldn't buy it.
Batiste Coloured Dry Shampoo - WIBA? - Definitely. This is a staple in my stash as I like the smell of it and I sometimes can't wash my hair as often as I like so this helps my hair look nice between washes. That reminds me. This was my last dry shampoo so will have to get some more.2019 Wins

THANK GOD it wasnt just me thinking that the C word was cheese.... :rotfl:
For the record I do love cheese. I also like Christmas but don't want to think about it in August. Saying that on the way home tonight I saw a woman with an M&S bag with a Christmas tree on it and nearly had a funny turn again. It's just not right!!LadyMorticia wrote: »So sorry, Trudij.:(
Me too. Hugs to you. xAvon supermagnify mascara-WBA- I don't see the point in spending £10+ on a mascara as my eyelashes are quite long and dark (the only advantage of having dark hair:D) and this is usually less than £5 (I don't think I've ever bought anything from avon full price..:rotfl:) The brush is tiny but it separates and curls my lashes and is good for everyday.
I use this mascara as well. I need a spindly brush for my spindly lashes! I don't think I've ever paid full price for it either. Bought one from a recent brocure and it was only £3.50. :money:Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I was just going to post to wonder if it was something of that ilk Rosemary. I expect they didn't contact you because negotiations are still ongoing! Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
I've been caught out by the Dea Sea Spa in the shopping centres, I had a major guilt once I bought it that I took it back. They did say they have 28 day returns, so got my money bcak. I did like the lotion, and scrub so bought some on ebay, not used the scrub yet but working my way through the hand lotion:)
I have several INs, courtesy of Boots, save 1/3 on deordorant from the ACM, so with Dove being reduced already they work out at 30p :T
I have some more vouchers so may be tempted to use them next weekLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
I'm running out of cotton pads, and am wondering if you can point me to a place that sells them cheap? They're so overpriced in Boots and Superdrug
One IN for me, a full size Palmolive Aromatherapy Shower gel. Got it free with a voucher, so no guilt there!flutterbyuk25 wrote: »I get mine from Home Bargains, about 59p a pack.

Flutterbyuk25 you bet me too it. I buy the larger oval shaped ones which are 69p. I find them very good - they don't break apart. I did get some in Muji in London that i have let to try.
Sorry to hear about Percy and LT bunny.I don't have any pets now but I remember how I felt about my cats.
Splutterer watch update - The S & G Clean on me is still going argh!!!
My Elizabeth Arden Skin Simple eye cream was UU this morning. WIBA? Yes and already did ages ago. Really long lasting product and I feel that it moisturises really well without being sticky. Got it in the states 2 years ago for a bargain price so I might have a look when I am there in November.
I am also going to PYON tonight as they are looking a bit neglicted at the moment. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Omg I've failed already. Am away in New York with work and have forgotten favourite hair mousse, Sebastian whipped creme. So I thought, no problem I'll buy some more. It is something I like to have in stash anyway. I have about 4 at home. Oops. Also, I can't buy it in the UK so it was fine. Then went to salon shop to buy it. Felt a bit bad about spending £15 a time on hair mousse, although it is fab so started looking at alternatives. Somehow managed to come away with a Moroccan oil one which cost more! But it's bigger and was highly recommended by the girl in the shop.
Anyone else tried the Moroccan oil range? I've heard some good things. Or any other recommendations for curly hair?
Anyway, I'll be good for the rest of the month!Clothes challenge 2011 £254.08/£500!!!Toiletries challenge 2011 Trying!:j:T:j0 -

I bought my first pack from HB today so glad to hear good reviews :T My last lot were from Wilkinsons which were good too
My neighbours 3 down have just got an Aviary and I think it's got pigeons in it. They now seem to spend all day in the garden saying 'come on, come on boy' in a really weird voice  It's soooo getting on my nerves :rotfl:
One IN: Imperial Leather Oats & Honey or Milk (or something) Shower Creme - found at the bottom of a gift drawer *rolls eyes*
Hope y'all are super-well :beer:0
