Shamless Pleading: :p I've entered a competition to win £1000 of train vouchers - I spend almost that a year so it would be a super prize. Could some (any, all ;)) of you lovely ladies vote for my picture - it's OH and Big Dog asleep on a train :rotfl:

The comp is on Facebook so you may not be able to vote if you don't have a profile - but feel free to bug your OH/DD/DS/Neighbour/Dog :p - anyone who has a profile to vote too. You shall be rewarded in toiletry heaven :rotfl: :A

In case anyone missed it.... ! I would love you to win, Sarah. Also I am so taken with that pic of Big Dog!

    Morning all

2 UU's this morning and one IN from yesterday

    UU's:

1 x Home Bargains Dry Shampoo (Festival) - WIBA? Yep! It's a bargain at 79p and works same as Batiste. Just wish they did a brunette version!
1 x Wella SP Perfect Hold Hairspray 50ml - WIBA? Probably not, only got this to go on hols with last year and wanted to use it up before I move on weekend. It does the job but I like the Boots own one.

IN - 1 x Dove Damage Therapy Intensive Repair Conditioner 50ml - this came free with my Marie Clare subscription :)

Morning, hope everyone is well. Have some UU's to declare

Barry M Basecoat & Topcoat in One - WIBA? -Yes I really rate their nail products, and this does the job. Actually managed to use the whole bottle withput it going manky

Tesco Nail Varnish Remover - WIBA?- Yes its cheap as chips and works

Avon Clearskin Deep Cleansing Scrub - WIBA? - Yes I already have, this whole range is fantastic

Dove Visible Effects Body Lotion - WIBA? - Yes really like this this has made my skin feel better than any other lotion has

Herbal Essences Smooth & Soft Duo Sachets - WIBA? - These were a free sample, dont think I would buy the products though as they are very highly scented and after a while it irritates my scalp.
  • Another UU to report:

    S&G Perfume
WIBA? Maybe, this one was bought for me as a gift. It's nice enough but I don't know if I would buy it again unless it was on offer or something.
  • I'm in! Have dipped in and out of this challenge before. This month I'm really trying to spend as little as possible to get the old cash flow under control. So trying to go cold turkey on toiletries and clothes. Am also on a diet but trying not to feel too miserable!

    Good luck everyone.

Trudij I'm really sorry to hear about Percy :( Trying to be positive, now you know you can spoil him rotten :) He's lucky to have you.

Rosemary *hugs* It would be upsetting they didn't tell you, but maybe they're just trying to sort themselves out before they tell you.

    UUs
Boots trial gold shimmer bath crystals: WIBA? No. These smelled lovely, but other then leaving a shimmer in the water and on me, no real benefit. Now if they were foaming as well... :D
No7 P&P beauty serum - 5ml: WIBA? I have never bought a full size serum, it's nice but I tend to accumulate the minis with gwps :o

    Loving the stash lists :)

I just saw the post about the Home Bargains dry shampoo, there's not one near me, is there another one that can be recommended? I'm using Batiste tropical after recommendations from here, but it just seems to need a lot to do the job.

Not tired, but so sleepy today iykwim? Feel like I could sleep forever
No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

I'm running out of cotton pads, and am wondering if you can point me to a place that sells them cheap? They're so overpriced in Boots and Superdrug

One IN for me, a full size Palmolive Aromatherapy Shower gel. Got it free with a voucher, so no guilt there!

alioth - aldi sell cotton pads cheaper than boots, and they are really good.

I got the e-mail for that shower gel too but my computer wouldn't print it and I couldn't be bothered with the security settings so it would:(
