roll on next year! he wont be 2 so no tantrums! (yeah i know im deluding myself but right now i dont care!!!)

I didn't have problems with tantrums at 2. From 3 onwards yes :D Zola Budd once said that when you are told about the 'terrible twos' they never tell you about the "f*ckin' fours", so be warned :rotfl:
  • Good morning :D
I am up (it's a start!) and dressed. The girls are arguing  DS is laying on the sofa in PJ's
We are going to a birthday party today! My godmother is 102 :j
I have a hair appointment booked for 11am (booked about 10 minutes ago!) (1 of my frogs!!), si I am going to load the WM, get myself ready, then get my hair cut (why do I always book these things when it is raining!!?). Then throw on some different clothes & go!

My sister called last night to say that she has an appointment for her op (she has been having chemo for breast cancer) She says that 'Colin' is being removed on 16/8! i don't think she was expecting it that soon! She is only having the lump removed, as they are pleased with the way it has shrunk :j So we will need lots of positive vibes that day, as it is the same day as LW.

    Ok, off i go!!

    Morning all,

Thanks for all the advice guys.

Well it's raining so we can't go to holiday club, well we could but i don't fancy being crammed in a tiny room with half the kids from the village. :rotfl:So i can wait in for the parcel and get the washing done.

I rang up about the house in this village and it's been taken, they're just waiting for a deposit and the checks to come back. She said if for any reason it doesn't go through she'll let me know. :(

I think i just need to concentrate on holiday and worry about it when i get back.

I'll be back with a list of urgent stuff in a bit.

Morning everyone. Well it is happily raining here and it seems to be much cooler. I haven't even got the french doors open today, and only one window open in the living room :)

I am hoping to make some cakes later today, so that I can freeze them, Rhubarb cake, Raspberry cake, Blueberry muffins and Chocolate cupcakes. But we will see how many actually get made..lol I do have to go to Asda to pick up some of the ingredients though, but I have my list printed and I am going to stick to that religiously :)

Not a lot else going on here.. Haven't seen my care co-ordinator for over a fortnight now. She cancelled a couple of mondays ago and I haven't heard hide or hair from her since. So gawd knows what is going on. I do hope that I haven't been dropped from seeing her.

Hope everyone is doing okay and not struggling with the lists or various other bits/things. :D

Hugs to everyone, special hugs for LL, Toots, LW and Vanilla.

Well it is raining here and I am all packed ready to go on holiday :( what happened to the sun and heat from yesterday????? We are off to the East coast for a week so hopefully we will get some nicer weather??? I have washed up last nights baking utensils (again! How did I manage to have such a domestically slack daughter?..) have also cleaned the bathroom, cleaned the kitchen and made our bed. Leaving DD and her BF here, hoping that if I leave everywhere clean and tidy I may come back to a clean and tidy house (delusional??? Moi????)

Right off to pack the car, see you lovely ladies (and gents) in a week or so

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    Mornin' all.

Happy Birthday to Goodintentions' Godmother Wow, 102, that's fantastic!:o

Just been out with Louie for a walk, and we are thoroughly grossed out. Now, usually people complain (quite rightly) about dog-owners who don't clean up after their pets..... Our walk takes us past the childrens' play area, which also has a couple of swings designed for the real tinies. On the path, right in the centre, so that I had to divert the mobility buggy to avoid it, was a discarded used nappy. I mean, YUK or what!_pale_ *insert vomiting smilie*

Anyways, apart from that, we had a lovely walk, rain notwithstanding; Louie has got used to the route we take, and even knows we're going to stop at the poo-bin to dispose of the little black bag!:T

Now he's curled up on the sofa, having had a game with his toy pig, and a couple of doggy-chocs, so I can press on with the lists.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

WM on the go and one load on the line. Clean clothes all folded and put away. DW on the go too. Plan is just to work through the house one room at a time today and see how much i get done. Hubby away to get more tattooing done, so just me and the kids..
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Absolutely exhausted, just spent 3 long days rehearsing for the Edinburgh Tattoo, final rehearsals/dress rehearsals today and official performances starting tomorrow. My legs and feet have never been so sore from standing up for so long so will be spending most of today off my feet so I can cope tonight.

We have got a couple of things done thanks to DH, today I am going to make a pack up for whoever moves in here so the guarantees/manuals don't get packed up and then tomorrow we are going to start packing the house up. We move 2 weeks tomorrow so we need to start getting sorted.

    MY LIST
    [STRIKE]Update bank book and spreadsheet[/STRIKE]
    Order wedding thank you cards
    [STRIKE]Get removal quotes[/STRIKE]
Make new list for changing surname/address
[STRIKE]Arrange servicing of boiler and request gas safety certificate[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Get DHs P60 for mortgage[/STRIKE]
    Put flooring down in hall
    Try and fix kitchen drawer
    Declutter shed
    Cut grass
[STRIKE]Get boxes (if not supplied by removals)[/STRIKE]
    Contact companies about move
Find out about gas/electricity/phone in new house
Declutter and pack up every room (more detailed list to follow)
