Took my DS (and his mate) to football - his team won (but probably more through luck) then came home, had a coffee and went to town via B&Q from where I picked up my new bathroom ceiling light and paint having remembered to order them, on line, through Quidco.
Still itchy though. Am on anti histamines for the hay fever anyway...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Hex i could have wrote that myself about my boys..DS2 never helps and DS1 just wants to get it done out of the way. Then each one will come up and complain about the other.
Well bedroom cleared out and window is sitting thick with bleach, hopefully it won't take too many goes to clean it. Hubby thinks i shouldn't bother scrapping anymore paint off because we don't know how far the plasterer will take off. So it can wait until he appears. Joiner rang and he's coming tomorrow evening to put the bath panel on and recut the bathroom door, so no more stuck door..:j:j
Flying wise the wm and dw are both on and i've made a big pot of stew for this evening and tomorrow. I think i'll spend a hour in the kitchen while the kiddies watch alvin and the chipmunks.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Hi all
My weekend plans went a bit awry - spent 5 hours yesterday stripping the wallpaper in the lounge (5 bin bags of wallpaper later and there's still paper on the wall! Not a big lounge either eek!)
Today
Steam cleaned kitchen & bathroom floors
DW on
About to hoover lounge (a daily due to my 4 cats)
Then HHC on the sunroom which is in need of new flooring and a lick of paint but that will have to wait until next year.
Happy sunday x0 -

Hi,
Weekend plans all went a bit T*ts up.
DH hasn't been well, and we ended up at the OOH this morning.
I have managed the basics and have ironed enough work clothes for the week.
I just want to give the bathroom the once over, which i will probably do later when i have a shower. Off to collect a chippy tea now. Yes I'm that disorganised.
One of these weeks, i will finish a list.....Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift
That's why we call it 'The Present'0 -
