    Hi all

Very swift time-out to log on here while I eat my pud (last of the HM plum crumble) that I was too full to eat straight after dins.:D

So far today we have managed between us:
    • Change bedlinen and wash the dirty stuff
    • Cut front lawn and weed border
    • Hoover whole bungalow apart from lounge
    • Confirm that we do have spare light bulbs, and don't need to put them on the shopping list (this entailed Mr LW going in the loft, where he put them "out of the way").
    • Done the weekly check for planning applications on pubs in the area (I do this for the local CAMRA branch)
    • Fruit & Veg run
    • Cooked and eaten dins (veggie sausages and hard-boiled eggs and salad)
    • Checked and dealt with all email
    • Finance and meal plan spreadsheets updated
    • Walked Louie twice
    • HHYoga for me
    Gods, I am knackered!:(

Still need to get the lounge hoovered, and maybe get ahead with a few more of the weekend tasks - unfortunately, I seem to be coming down with another cold, which is a nuisance, to say the least. *rolleyes*

In case anyone's interested. this is Louie:

  • All washing done and dried.

    Bins empty.

Washed old net and replaced teeny one on front door with it. Room is a bit darker, but it should give a little bit more privacy/draught prevention in winter. So horrible that I'm already thinking of winter weather.

Fish & splats fed. Splats sleeping in front room, other than Stooopid, who legged over to the neighbour's jungle at 2 o'clock when I opened the front door to put the cat litter in the bin -

    Oh, hang on - [listens]

    'MAOOOOWWWWWW MAOOOWWWW MAOOOOOOWWWWWW MAAAOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW'

    [opens front door]

Make that all three are up and hoping for something to eat again.

That means I could reasonably get the vacuum cleaner out now. There are quite a few fluffy bits on the rug, after all.

Hmmm, what to have for [STRIKE]breakfa[/STRIKE] dinner? Surely there must be some food in the house?
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Evening all, well thats me finished for today. Sparky arrived and tracked the wall, put up a new light fitting and cut a line for us..:D:D:D:D:D:D

The tracking has been filled so it keeps the wires in place. I've rang a plasterer and he's coming monday or tuesday evening but he'll ring first. I peeled off loads of paint from the wall and took off the bedroom door, undercoated one side of the door. Joiner has been rung and he's to ring back tomorrow or monday so hopefully i'll have the bath panel on and bathroom door cut abit by next week. I'll need to get a quote for the skirting in our room too. ;)

I'm totally shathered now and could very easily go to bed except our bed will be in the livingroom and my sister and BIL are up so i'll just have to wait...:rotfl:

    LW he's lovely....
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

My boys are watching Harry Potter & DH is snoring.

Bits and pieces achieved today. Managed a trip to pick up some presents for DS2 birthday and discovered a nut free birthday cake in MrS's. I couldn't buy it yet as the use by date was too early. I wrote all b/cards for this month. Had to get a parcel from post office which I missed yesterday.

LW Thanks for sharing the photo of Louie.
