    Morning lovelies!

    Welcome back Dusty :hello: x
Valli Bucket loads of sympathy, ouchy x

Put the washing on the line as it's super breezy and not raining.....yet! My goodness we had some yesterday  think it's forecast for showers so will be keeping a very close eye on it. Done loads and loads of sorting/flinging.....all of my kitchen diner was gone through yesterday and I feel heaps better, it kinda gets out of control when it's the working week as I'm too exhausted to do much other than the dailes, so I gave it a good going over.

Today we're going to nip in to town for GD birthday pressies for tomorrow....no idea what to get her as everyone got there before me :( so the trusty arts and crafts will be bought along with a big bag of sweeties :D I'm having her for the day soon to go and purchase Clarks school shoes :j her first proper fitted shoes (don't get me started  LOL ) I insisted!

Gonna get some big storage boxes for littleys room from Wilkinsons today and I WILL be doing it....she's faffed about for weeks with it now and enough is enough! You still can't see the floor  FLING! hahahaha!

    morning all.

DS2 woke up crying covered in blood after scratching his neck to shreads again last night asking for a plaster and for me to kiss it better. plaster seems like a good idea now to stop him scratching overnight but i dont have one big enough.

today im going up to my parents to have tea which i will probably end up cooking myself (i always end up cooking the roasts coz the boys want to play with grandma and granda and if i dont cook we will end up staved coz they wont give my folks peace lol). think im going to take up my bread baking stuff and make a few loaves while im there. my mum has a 2 ovens and they are big so i can get a few loaves on the go at once and freeze them.

other than that im decluttering coffee and painkillers today i think coz i feel tired and achey. mates round tonight so i think it will be a late one but a fun one!

Managed to get three loads of washing on the line - only because I had a rubbish night's sleep as FIL managed to dial our number 'accidentally' at 11.53 pm, woke me up and I spent the rest of the night trying to get some proper sleep.

gillypk, not sure how old DS2 is, or whether he would even accept this, but would persuading him to wear some cotton gloves for a night help his neck?

Today is more paperwork - it is spread all over the dining table - but I have decided to put Toots List on my PDA - which will be a flipping sight more effective than keep writing on scrappy bits of paper and putting them in my handbag/on the dressing table/in my pocket/on the side in the kitchen ........... Then I should be able to print off a copy as and when I want. PDA linked to PC and waiting for me to go.

Four cakes in oven - now I need to check who wants them this week!

  • Had quite a restless night last night - I'm not that far away from Brixton or Streatham and they usually kick off if North London does, and someone had claimed on radio that it was starting up where I am (which it wasn't) - so I was half in and half out of sleep with any sound, despite it being the quietest night I can remember down here. Got about 3 hours' solid sleep in the end. Will be likely to have the same again tonight.

DW on, cleared up after the splats again (flinging litter out of their tray this time), kitchen sink bleached to within an inch of its life, Stoopid has legged it again, the other two are snoring and I am trying to put off another visit to Minion's Pit of Despair.

I think I might have another cuppa (or 5) before going up there.

I've done the bathroom that hadn't been done 3 weeks :o ....cleared a load of bottles etc, and scrubbed the grotty non-slip bath mat which is like new again now :A

Flicked through the Lakeland catalogue, mopped up the drool....and made a wee listy for next time I'm up Newcastle. Made umpteen brews, looked through my new Baking book and made a listy of ingredients for a couple of things i want to try, which also involves buying the most basic of baking needs, cool tray, scales, baking sheets----will cost a blimmin fortune but once they're bought, they're bought.

    I'm rambling!

Littley doesn't want to come into town with me... pah! only been waiting for her to get up since 9.30, could have been and come back hours ago  well she's coming! Lolling about in a pre-teenie mood in her dark, dank pit is no good. I'm going to fling open her blinds and windows whether she likes it or not! Cover your ears ladies I'm going in. :D

DS1 and I were looking at the catalogue at 1:30 last night on my bed with tears rolling down our faces at some of the stuff you can buy at Lakeland - a catalogue of stuff you never knew existing and didn't need until you saw a picture of it:rotfl: Don't get me wrong I love some of their stuff and have a short list too.

Not achieved as much today. I have done a food shop, meal plan and put petrol in the car. Showers have arrived which is a tad inconvenient with the amount of washing I am trying to dry.

Just going to have a cuppa and then make a start on hoovering our bedroom.

Hex you are welcome to some of my GUAG - it is post holiday hype and will soon be used up so take some whilst you can x

I've started a list of things I need to buy in the next month and it is worryingly long (there is also a list of things I'd like to buy!). I need to have a look at the finances and see what can be gigged but not today.
