    Sorry about that Jojo :rotfl:

have cleaned the kitchen (DD is asleep, DS at foorball so floor has a chance to dry) and washed out the kitchen bit and used the mop water to woosh over the bathroom floor just because I can

    oh I ironed again

state of DD's floordrobe suggests that I will have more washing tomorrow.

Can I ask a personal question? How do you dispose of used ST's? DD just puts hers in her bedroom bin and I'm not happy - have asked her to put them in bathroom bin (lidded) and to roll/fold them up - thinking of buying nappy bags for her to wrap them in.

The last two paragraphs are clearly connected - typing them has made me realise that the appearance of floordrobe probably AF assisted. Shall attempt not to RAGE at her

Our ST's go in the bathroom bin, rolled up etc.....

Needless to say emptying the bin is not something OH will do...

    Morning lovelies!

Holly Is moving in with your OH for a bit an option? it might give you a bit of breathing space. Or could you apply for council housing? If you're being made homeless they usually rehouse you pretty darn quick especially if your local MP is involved. just throwing some thoughts at you :) hopefully you'll get in touch with the letting agent and you'll get the house you want xx

It's still sunny and hot---BOO! Too hot for me to be working in at the mo....just going from one house to the other in the car saps my energy, car is oven-like  but needs must....got a week off soon :T

Food delivery tonight, S&Sing to do, washing to do, hoovering to do etc etc...wont be doing any of it :D I'm at work 9-15 till 4 today, 2 houses back to back none stop, so I'll be good for nothing when I get in.

    Laters folks xx

Morning ladies, Pigpen I am in your club wanting a new Laptop. This one has suddenly developed a stiff space bar that can only be pressed on the far left hand side. Not ideal when I can touch type and was trained to use my right thumb for space.

Had a garden full of teenagers overnight so didn't get alot of sleep. Dining and kitchen floors are now filthy as they have been traipsing in and out all night and it's been raining HARD.

I need to find DS3's shin pads as he has a free Tesco skills session this afternoon.

Poor DH has booked today to play golf with his friend. Did I mention that it is pouring with rain?

I'm going to find DH's work laptop - this is a nightmare.

yes DS2 isnt feeling great but i am sick fed up of him screaming at me when he doesnt like my answer! really its riduclious! i cant deal with it much longer he needs to snap out of it.

2nd night in a row he hasnt eaten his tea but is now trying to get me to give him pudding. no chance mate! he can stand and scream at me all he likes but ill still be saying no! im ignoring him for now but oh my gosh my head is so sore and its not fair on DS1 who has taken to putting his fingers in his ears everytime his baby brother starts his carry on. he was actually crying tonight too coz he says he is fed up of DS2 crying all the time.

tonight is basic ironing so i have clothes to wear tomorrow and friday then im sitting down with a vodka!

It improves at about 18ish... years, not months!

I have put mine outside in the garden in the rain on a couple of occasions when they have been kicking off.. DS1 was once put outside in his underwear when he refused to get dressed! lol.

Gilly - I was getting to the point where asking social services (or my parents) to take DD1 for a week seemed like a good way to deal with her 1 hour tantrums! a good friend gave me "toddler taming" by Christopher Green and suggested I go on the positive parenting course at the local children's centre. It was 10 weeks long and the first 4 weeks were all about play, 2 about praise, 2 about limit setting and the final 2 about time outs! Her behaviour has improved heaps but more than than my mindset changed. she just wants attention and negative attention (being shouted at) is better than no attention. We were advised to read the Carolyn Webster-Stratton "incredible years" book during this course.

That said she can still have her tantrum moments and yes, when I don't have time for time out she has gone to childminders or play group in various stages of undress. Play group is run by some childminders and they've set up an 'undressed corner' where children can sit but they cannot join in the other activities until they are dressed - DD gets dressed very quickly when she realises she cannot play on trikes or trampoline until dressed!

It is just a stage and they do grow out of it - the trick (so I've been told is to keep sane during the growing out of it stage)!

    Good morning!

Hope you manage to solve some of your issues today, Holly.

It's been raining here on and off since yesterday afternoon. My 3 lots of bedding are still out on the line and I may have to bring them back in, re-wash them and shove them in the TD as I'm not sure it will stop long enough for them to dry on the line. :( It seems to have stopped at the moment, so I'll give it one more go.

DS2 and I will walk up to the second hand market in a bit for a look around. I need milk, too, as this lot is just about to go off.

Also on the list: ironing, put clean clothes away, more washing, some more tidying in the LR, hospital visit, defrost something for tea. I'm sure there's more, but if I can get this done, I'll be pleased. Breakfast first, though.
  • ..sneaks in quietly.....

Just back from our anniversary shenanigans and still not quite back onto UK time. DS is still asleep after nearly 15 hours  but I may wake him soon otherwise he'll not sleep tonight.

Have unpacked the cases and put some away. I brought all the washing home clean so just need to iron it which I'll do later this morning. Never been this quick before - Flying must be rubbing off :D

OK, coffee then make a to do list and intend to do all of the weekly list in the next two days as back to the paid stuff next week.:(

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

gillypkk I'm in the same boat. Rhys is just over two and every word is no even if he wants it. Grrrrrrrrr, hissy fits are kicking the cupboards, throwing toys, screaming, crying and hitting me. The little !!!!!! pulled the head of one of my flowers yesterday and he knows he shouldn't. Yesterday morning i sort of had enough of all the kiddies, so reward charts where done up for the older ones and the a small plastic chair bought in for the naughty chair. So far so good, i just hope it lasts. :D Secrets of the baby whisperer, the toddler one is a great read too.

Hollyh big deep breath, have you any family near by that could help for a few days?

MrsChaos so glad to hear he will make a full recovery.

Morning all, didn't manage a whole pile yesterday. My sister and BIL came up, hubby went to see his BB gun and ended up getting a tattoo redone that was fading (thankfully it didn't cost anything) but him and tattooist decided that the tattooist would take the tickets that we were selling in exchange for hubby getting his arms covered (he wants them covered because of the scares), so thats a done deal plus he managed to get a ticket for speeding on the way up. So eventho he has no money we have now no money from the ticket sale £160, at least £20 fuel gone and probably a £60 fine. So in one days he's lost us £240  I might just go back to bed. :rotfl:

Right i better go get the rest of the kids up and hubby. Plan is to do loads of flying today and go for a walk later..:D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
