Definitely although like I said before you shouldn't be able to win again for a period of a year or so, I would not enter if I already won as I would give others a chance.

I'm not a fighter! I was just saying......

There are some people that only ever enter the big ones (greedy things)

A friend of mine had a moan the other day, saying that all I do is enter competitions...... Actually, I am doing two seperate maths courses working towards a degree, have 3 kiddies, 1 doggy, (try to) keep my house tidy, as well as being a volunteer for my daughters' school. The only time I do get to enter comps is, as I said, in the evenings and weekends. And I enter anything - as long as I know someone who will be grateful to receive it.

(Just wish I could win a nice holiday so I could have a break) :rotfl:

Good Luck in your courses, and good luck for a holiday win, that's one of the comps I don't enter, prefer to stay at home...lol

I have a life as well, but the thought of winning big keeps me going as well as winning the little prizes keep me going, When I have a dry spell I lose heart. I would love to win a holiday. I noticed won person won 3 TV's, don't know how they do it I can't win one lol

I do note the amount of effort and time that people like FF and the like take to put up comps for us. If I could, I would do the same. It seems only in a blue moon that I find a comp no one else had put on. If you look at comps I enter, I thank every single one!! I also help where I can. I do feel bad when I have a win if I haven't been able to "help" on a comp for a while.

@ Catmiaow - I have christmas almost sorted thanks to the little wins lol. And I know what you mean with the tvs. I'd be happy with a box at the moment lmao

I agree I find if I post comps someone else usually does and I didn't know about it, still some people give you hell for it. I have only posted a few comps as they always seem to be here already. People like Weeowens and Comping Cat(and everyone else who posts) deserve a medal for the time they give to post comps and I always thank all posters.

Although I do try and put up comps if they haven't already been posted, I do spend alot of time on here entering comps. Soon as the kids are in bed I'm on here doing as many as I can until I feel sleepy. Today there's been loads, and I'm still doing them..... blooming end of the month!!!

But I do enter loads, I have had a few decent wins, still waiting for a big one. I honestly think it's all down to luck. Facebook & Twitter comps I'm slowly going off, because it does seem the same winners.

EDIT: I only use MSE for comps btw

no offence meant jaibaby,all i'm saying is it's some of them that are on here & other sites entering comps all day, not very often you see them post a comp or contribute any other way, either by requesting merges/or whatever, not that that's any of my business :rotfl:but
no wonder they always win all the time,
suppose we would if we were entering majority of the time or

Sorry you are not having a lucky time Ratgirl and hope things improve for you but isn't comping for fun? I spend a lot of time entering and am really grateful for all the posters. I know I haven't posted very many comps myself as they are always on already but I do try!

I hope everyone has a lucky August anyway. x
