I don't think I'll bother doing FB comps any more as apart from being a pain to do (I hate having to keep liking when I'm only really liking to win), also I didn't realize that you have to check on FB to see if you've won either
I didn't know you did either, I thought they messaged you!
I've won two FB comps and been messaged both times:cool:0 -

I have been comping for about 10 yrs and have yet to win a FB comp.. It really doesn't bother me though, everyone is in with the same chance imo and well done to whoever does win
I really think the comping fairy frowns on those who begrudge others winning so maybe this is where you are going wrong!
I have had some good months and some quiet months over the years - thats the way it goes.. it should be a fun hobby and once you start getting worried or annoyed at the lack of wins then it might be time to have a rest from it
Hi, thanks for your input, I have said several times that I don't begrudge anyone there wins at all! I am more then happy for them, just a little jelous, and I really enjoy entering the comps0 -

If you are notified through FB the rules are being broken.
FB Promotions Guidelines (11/05/2011)6. You must not notify winners through Facebook, such as through Facebook messages, chat, or posts on profiles or Pages0 -

but it also quotes
You must not use Facebook features or functionality as a promotion’s registration or entry mechanism. For example, the act of liking a Page or checking in to a Place cannot automatically register or enter a promotion participant.

Ok.... so am really sorry to bump this again, but hmmmmmm, just checking the IWIWIW section again, and the same thoughts are there, all quite newbies, winning the big cash/holiday/electrical, ect comps, am struggling so much to win anything at the moment, spending 5-7 hours a day, nearly 400+ comps a day, (dailys, advents, etc) feeling really sorry for myself, not looking forward to xmas at all, probably all in my head, but.....0

Ratgirl, Please get yourself some kind of life, this obsession with winning comps (or not) must be very draining, its just the luck of the draw nothing more than that, nothing sinister going on, Please dont take any offence to this post as none is intended, I just feel like you need to do more things instead of clinging onto that big win. forget about comping for a while and try and have a good christmas, I promise you dont need loads of cash or "stuff" to have fun and enjoy yourself.0
