It all kind of goes quite for a bit while your waiting for searches to come back, don't panic when this happens. We just regularly emailed solicitor asking if there is anymore news.0 -
All those things you had happen in 24 hours, we had the same. Took forever to get a valuation/survey sorted and done though due to availability of surveyorsTrying to remain free of unsecured debt and build up some savings.
Have done CeFA and CeMAP exams but no longer regulated.0 -

Have chosen a local company, similar to solicitors, who are available , or so they say!:eek:30th June 2021 completely debt free…. Downsized, reduced working hours and living the dream.0 -
My survey was done the week after my offer was accepted so don't worry. Every sale is different. Don't let the horror stories put you off!0

Valuation done on Thursday, didn't even bother to make an appointment.
Drive-by valuations are back then?????
Spent two hours on the phone with the mortgage company denying any knowledge of a mortgage offer or even the telephone conversation:mad:! Sorted out in 10 mins once the local branch got involved (another dept's fault)
Next is the survey which is booked for this Wednesday. Fingers crossed, especially as I've already bought a new dishwasher for the house30th June 2021 completely debt free…. Downsized, reduced working hours and living the dream.0 -

Ah I did my mortgage first. I didn't want to do anything until I knew we were approved. We all seem to do it differently! Hopefully your mortgage won't take long!0
