Here is the link to the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club.

    http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/frequentflyer/index.jsp

Once you have joined you can buy miles, which gives you money off flights, e.g Buy 2000 miles per person for £15 per 1000 plus £15 admin fee. so if you need 4000 miles for two people you can buy them for 4 x £15 plus £15 admin fee total £75. You are limited to buying 19000 miles per year. You can then save just over £200 per person.

However, if you apply for a Virgin Atlantic card you can get 3000 miles just for a first spend on it. The only snag there is that it takes a while for the miles to be credited, and if you want to book the flight soon that could be a problem. The credit card takes around a week to arrive, and you earn 1 mile for each £ spent on it, so you could build up miles that way.

Here are a couple of pictures from our visit in 03, http://www.geocities.com/thisfamilysite/lasvegas we are hoping to go again 08.

I quite like the £499 Vegas deal from travelscope but it is staying quite a way out from the strip. We have a timeshare and could exchange in a couple of blocks off. But would much rather stay 'in' the action rather than 'close' to it!!!

Another great deal I have seen is for Dec 07 - 3 days Miami, 7 days Caribbean Cruise on an RCI ship, and 3 days Vegas £1095 pp, that was with cruisetraders.

    Hope these deals help someone.

I think this thread should be made a sticky:T

If you're not in Vegas, you're camping out!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Woohh Hoooh. I am pleased for you.

keep coming back here and checking all the Vegas sites and we will find some great hotel deals hopefully.

Not forgetting the red rose onthe 20th/21st lol

My sister and her boyfriend wanted to go to the wedding of our mutual friend but couldn't really afford it. When I told her of the great deal you had found they booked last night using the miles plus money fare. Our friend is so so delighted that she has 4 guests at her wedding. Just one little piece of advice for anyone else. To buy the miles you need a credit card (which neither my sister nor her boyfriend has) but luckily my Dad came to the rescue.

It's a bit too early for specific promotions for that period - can't hurt to check the links that Kerry39 posted to get some ideas and check back regularly.

That said, IP has an ongoing Casino Gold promo here:

    http://www.imperialpalace.com/stay.php?subid=8&contentid=284

May be of some help...$65/weekdays, $85 weekends.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
