Can anyone give me any reviews on the Tuscany Suites at Vegas. I know they are off strip located about 2 blocks away. Read a mix of good and ok ish. Taking hubby out for 30th but cant really afford strip hotels unless mega deals are on. (nov 08). Any reviews would be appreciated.0

Wouldn't worry too much about it - I was also in LV last week, walked through PH a few times, all looked OK inside. Make sure you check out the Spice Market buffet, IMO the best buffet in Vegas0 -
Hi folks,
Love the pics btw :T
I'm getting married this september (15th) and we've been trying to decide where to go on honeymoon. Its been between San Francisco then Hawaii ..... or San Francisco then Vegas..... obviously we could do it the other way round (i.e. SF last). I think we've finally decided to combine SF with LV ... leave Hawaii to another time maybe.
So with that in mind.... we're looking for the best deals, ideas etc on how to structure the trip so all advice, pointers etc would be very happily received
Any good flight deals kicking around leaving the UK on 17th September back maybe 1st October?
Any thoughts on SF first or Vegas first?
What about hotels in Vegas? My good mate always stays at Luxor (he's heading there soon in fact lucky sod)... says it's good location, reasonable prices and decent standard.....anywhere else worth considering like this?
Oh and i guess.... do we stand any chance of getting some upgrades because we're on honeymoon
Thanks in advance for your help

I would do Vegas then SF - SF is much more chilled out, I've done multi-city holidays before and always leave SF to the end - Vegas is a very intense city in contrast.
Regarding the Luxor, I've stayed there twice and it is very dated and tired. I can recommend, however, the Signature at MGM Grand, stayed there twice - VERY nice - if you are interested, PM me and I'll send you some pics.
Hotel-wise for SF, check out the Hotel Vitale.
Have fun!0 -

Dont worry about the costruction, Once inside you wont notice itIt does look awful from the strip but I gambled in the casino (which is finished) and thought it was much better than before.0 -

Honeymoon on its own might get you an upgrade, honeymoon plus $20 will almost certainly get you a very good upgrade0
