Just booked my trip back to vegas, used my tesco vouchers so in the end we got the virgin flights and the bellagio for a week next November for £150. I think its the cheapest holiday i have ever had. We got most of the points from baby stuff as we had a little one 4 months ago so there was no extra spend at tesco.
We even managed to get the best price over our anniversery as we got married in the bellagio in november 06. Starting to get excited now, all we have to do is start saving. :-)0 -

Totally agree with you there. We saw them in 04 and they were dire , so they've obviously not improved
It's all very relative as we loved them...but we were fans before we saw the show so knew what to expect. It's not a typical magic show so I can see why people wanting a magic show wouldn't care for it though.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Blue Man Group is a different story , fantastic show :T
Always best to judge for yourself as everyone likes something different !0 -

We've flown with AA where they requested volunteers to take a bump in exchange for vouchers. Have never done it as it was never convenient for us to do so (and lose a day in Vegas? Please!)
Should you think you might take advantage of this if it were an option, would check with your hotel ASAP to see what their policy would be if you needed to cancel your first night on that short notice...that way at least you know if there's any penalty on the hotel side to consider.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Funny how opinions differ, we saw Penn & Teller and enjoyed the show but thought Blue Man Group were pants.
Always best to judge for yourself as everyone likes something different !
And we loved them both (though saw BMG in London for £20, so...)
Totally agree that it's best to judge for yourself, or at the very least to know what the reviewer's usual tastes are...if you like a lot of the same things, then the review may be helpful, but if not, it won't. It's great to get different opinions (I'm notorious for scouring for reviews of everything) but tastes do vary quite a lot...just read about the show itself before booking as in the case of P&T if someone specifically wants a magic show - P&T probably isn't the best option available, but for others it's a great one to see.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

The Jimmy Choo sale is probably the best ive EVER seen! I had been eyeing up a pair of flats over here for £325, i couldnt justify spending that but i ended up getting them in Vegas for £130!! And boots for just over £200, which were £485 in London. The guy who worked there was really nice, i had had a few drinks and was getting very excited at the prices... :rotfl:Undefeated Wii Fit ski jump champion!
