Have a great trip Trets. As for the 2008 thread, why would you want anything to do with someone elses thread, especially someone who started a Las Vegas thread several months ago as the "official" thread despite there being this one with close to 1600 messages at the time?
....and if there is anyone still wondering how to spend Christmas the Thmoas Cook (MyTravel/Airtours) flight from Manchester to Vegas on the 19th December (return on the 26th) is now down to £179 - combine that with just about the cheapest week of the year for hotels and you have a bargain!0 -

We did ask at the time and it was put across that this is a specific thread for bargains etc. which is why we started a Las Vegas Q&A Thread for general questions and answers
Anyhow, trets has already been in contact with me regarding the 2008 thread & guide and it's looking good :beer:0 -
I've probably missed you but have a great trip, Trets! Can't wait to hear about it when you get back.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Hi photome - I can't find any messages from you in my inbox - when did you send it? Could you send it again/PM me?
It was months ago and I have no idea who I sent it to but dont think it was you.
I am not sure it matters now as I have seen the thread that trets is working on for 2008 and it looks impressive, so hope that will become a sticky0 -
Just back from Vegas and I have three things to report.
Under no circumstances go to see the Penn and Teller Magic Show.It is absolute rubbish.
No sets, only a couple of decent tricks and just the two of them desperately trying to fill an hour and a half with waffle.
It's nothing more than a mid-bill nightclub act in a big half-empty theatre way off the Strip.
Secondly, there are hookers everywhere especially in the upmarket hotels and casinos - all working with the tacit approval of management. If any bint gives you more than a nano-second of eye contact then they're on the game.
But one positive note is the tequila bar in Bally's next door to the Paris. It's happy hour between 4-7pm every night and you get half-priced tequila drinks at four dollars a throw ( that's two quid ) that are huge together with free nachos and dips.
It's quite possible to get legless for a tenner if you're running low on funds !0 -

MMMMMMM, if they were the only things you had to report I guess you wont be going back.
I havent seen that show, but have seen a couple and I do agree that most are overpriced and not as professional as maybe London shows.
There are hookers in every major city, maybe there are more in Vegas, but I have never been bothered my them, maybe I look like a cheapskate.
I try to get legless for a profit when playing the tables, doesnt always work tho:rotfl:0
