Best casinos to play in as settings were Bellagio, Wynn, Venetian and Caesers and Worst were the ones down the Stratospere end, which is looking neglected compared to the big ones around the Bellagio nowadays... those down that end look like they need a lot of tarting up a nit, to keep up with the rest..
but if you are serious about your Gambling you get better odds downtown ect.
glad you had a great trip :beer:Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Great review above! Thanx0

We saw two cirque shows over the summer and both were amazing, for your first show however id recommend Mystere at treasure Island. You can get a good show/dinner meal for around $130 each which isn't bad value as the seats are decent aswell and you can choosebetween the steakhouse and the italian places to eat. Its a set menu but decent.
On the back of seeing that and enjoying it so much we paid full price to see Ka the next night and that was awsome also.
The Muscle men in Mystere are just awsome.
I just booked "O" at Bellagio for Dec 22nd, Mystere at Treasure Island for 23rd
and Blue Man group for 24th...saw them in Orlando couple of weeks back, loved it...also saw Cirque - La Nouba (twice) that was great too.0 -

Our luckiest at the slots were the Wynn and Venetian.
Just another point about the casinos, if roullette is your game then the Stratosphere is one of a very few casions that offer a SINGLE ZERO table for a low minimum0 -

lo, i used to think i loved gambling, i love poker, but was too scared by it in vegas! So i hardly played anything other than 1c slots lol... i proper chickened out lol
Played the 1c in all the casino's and hardly noticed any difference in how they played in any of them... just nicer to sit in the swankier hotels tbh, some of the others were a little smokey (something that hacked me off a bit about LV... non-smoking sections were often full of the kind of slots that i was too tight for!) and a bit shabbier (me and my husband thought it was hilarious that the standard of hostesses changed so much depending on the hotel... it was clear that as they get older, they get demoted further down the strip lol!)0 -

lolamancity - thanks for a great report and the photos. As for the apologies for your 'ugly mug'...please. You are GORGEOUS!
erm, edited to add that I swear I did not put that frowny face on there (I don't even know how)...so...yeah...no frowny face was mean to appear on this post!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
