Not sure there is one on the strip, although there is a parking lot near to m and m world that I seem to remember had something to do with a movie house but may be wrong.

There is def one in the Orleans http://www.fandango.com/TheaterPage.aspx?tid=AADZY

If you want a sporting night out while you are there the Las vegas wranglers (ice hockey) play at the Orleans arena, you can get great seats for very little money and then the ticket will get you 2 for 1 at the buffet. (at least it did when i went).

I had never been to an ice hockey match before and I couldnt believe how fast and how rough it is.

That's the United Artists (UA) Showcase - showtimes here:

But it's not a great cinema really - it's quite old and small...the Orleans is great, and the Palms is supposed to be good as well.

Glad you had a great time.are you a Vegas convert now?

The patisserie in Bellagio is def worth a visit.

It seems Macys has a sale on every time we go and my wife always comes out with more HANDBAGS!!!

Agree with ur best tip tho.....comfy shoes are a must

    Yes I am definitely converted.

My intention was to do it once in my lifetime & to do everything just in case I hated it, but I would go again - its worth it just for the oxygen fix in the casinos - I'm staying in Canada atm so its only a short flight (2.1/2 hrs).

I loved the brioches in the patisserie - they're about the size of a baby's head!

Guess what I bought in Macy's.....a handbag. Jewellery is also a good buy.

There is no need to take lots of 'dressy' clothes - its very casual even in the smart casino's.

There is a UA cinema on the strip at Showcase Mall, between Planet Hollywood and MGM.

http://www.regalcinemas.com/# Put in 89109 as the zip code.

But of course...that's why God made sales...for handbags. :)

Glad to hear you had a good trip LouLou!

Not sure if this helps anyone, but AA have a sale on with flights to New York from Stansted from £243 on quite a lot of dates (LA, San Diego and San Francisco for £315 but not direct I don't think)...an internal flight might not be all that expensive, so for those who are willing to make a connection and who can use Stansted, might be worth looking at - could tie up with a NYC holiday as well...have to book by 18.10.07

I would think I had died and gone to heaven should they ever open up a direct flight from Stansted to Las Vegas (other than MaxJet).
