I havent checked Airline networks terms, but I have always been under the impression that if you book a flight through a broker and only pay a deposit, then you dont get a confirmed price, ie if it goes up you would have to pay the extra and if it goes down? ( not sure that way round)

Just taken this from their website, it looks like my thinking is right. I would be sweating if I only paid a deposit to find the fare shoots up in price before final payment

If the fare allows just a deposit to be paid this option will show at the bottom of the Credit Card
Payment page and you may click on your preferred option. Payment requirements will vary from
one fare to another, some requiring full payment at the time of booking, other may be booked
with just a deposit and the balance due at a later stage. Please bear in mind that fares are only guaranteed once full payment has been received and the ticket issued.

    Morning Photome,
Thank you very much for your warning - I wasnt immediately aware of this fact (I would have come across it later - but maybe too late!), so I appreciate this greatly. How awful - maybe having to pay much more money. The MyTravel flight doesnt do this - you reserve the flight with the £150 and you pay the price at that date - Thanks again for your help!

Trets 77 - I totally agree - £1,500 with Maxjet would be my first choice anyday - BUT I live in Leeds (and dont drive) so would have to factor in an additonal days travel there and back plus cost and I cant book and pay in full at the moment - just in case our plans change, so I am guessing that I will have to bit the bullet and fly Mytravel again - I looked back yesterday to your weekly "Mytravel prices" posts from Apr/May/June last year and it looks pretty grim again for when we want to fly.... Ah well - WSOP in Vegas is worth it!!!!!

Book by end of October, travel dates from 16th November to 29 February...return to Vegas from £658, from Stansted, all business class. Not as good as their sales have been, but it's something.

It depends on which ones you are talking about as there are loads of sources.

If you do a web search for 'vegas coupons' you will find tons of sites where you can print vouchers.

    http://destinationcoupons.com/Nevada/Las_Vegas/Las_Vegas.asp
    http://vegas4locals.com/coupons.html
    http://www.lasvegas-nv.com/las-vegas-coupons.htm
http://www.vegasresource.com/index.php?pr=Coupons - note that this one does charge a shipping fee (either to your address in the UK or to your hotel in Vegas...most are available for free if you have time to track them down)

You can buy vouchers to use toward meals at www.restaurant.com - use zipcode 89109

You can buy the American Casino Guide at amazon.co.uk (the new edition is published next month and is good through most of 2008)

You can get the Las Vegas Advisor Pocketbook of Values by joining ($37 for an online subscription) at www.lasvegasadvisor.com

You can pick up any free magazines you see when you get to Vegas - they're everywhere and there are some decent coupons in most.

You can use this one to save time in the queue (and $1) at tix4tonight

    http://www.lasvegas-nv.com/tix-4-tonight-coupon.htm

or $2 off the service charge with this one

    http://www.lasvegasleisureguide.com/lasvegas/calls/c-t2fr4.htm

In most cases if you sign up for a casino's players club (it's free) you will get something - a book of vouchers (sometimes called a 'fun book'), a t-shirt, etc.

And your hotel will probably have some vouchers waiting for you in your room (check the Casino Player magazine if there's one in your room as well) or will give some to you at check in - most do at least.

    From travelzoo.com

MGM from $89/night - includes $35 voucher for the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood (haven't quite worked that one out as they're owned by different groups, but hey).

You must book by Oct. 31.

You can also upgrade to a Bungalow suite with a marble bath for $50 more. Or, stay in a Celebrity Spa suite with a marble whirlpool tub and extended living area for $80 more.
Dates that have been heavily reduced include:
    • $89... Oct. 17-18, 21-24; Nov. 7-8, 18-21, 25; Dec. 2-5, 11-13, 16-20, 21 (Friday), 23-27; Jan. 2-3
    • $99... Oct. 28-30; Nov. 4-6, 22, 26-29; Dec. 14-15 (weekend), 22 (Saturday); Jan. 1

I booked my flight with Sundance helicopters thru Viator using a discount code given in post #1504.

Expect to pay about $300 dollars in total for the round trip including limo & champagne picnic.
