Hannah - so good to hear that you are enjoying your trip and are hooked on Vegas. It was inevitable.
Photome - if you play slots at all maybe play a bit at the Harrah's properties next trip and then check again - they really, really favour slot players...the first time we played at Bally's a very little bit one night of our trip and the next trip were given 7 nights at $70/night including the weekend nights...at the time, we were ecstatic (and my husband thought it must be a mistake - cries of 'book it! book it before they catch on!' came from the sofa.We haven't paid for any nights at Bally's since that trip...but we do gamble quite a lot and 98% on slots because that is what we enjoy.
Of course, if you wouldn't play slots at all normally I would never suggest that you do so just for the prospect of possible reduced room rates in the future...it works for us as we're going to play the slots anyway - makes sense to get free rooms for doing so..but for others, it would be silly.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I think the £50 tickets have finished some time ago.
If you are in the military they give a 50% discount.
But to answer your main question, it really depends how badly you want to see the show. O was sold out the whole time we were there and never appeared at tixs 4 tonight. However most shows of Ka and Mystere (I would really recommend this) had tickets available on the day. In short if you are going to be dissappointed at not seeing something, I'd book ahead.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

Agreed. Mystere is almost always available at Tix4Tonight for about 20%-30% off on the day of the show - at least in the morning though they may sell out early.
Ka is sometimes available...O rarely is available...discounts are usually 20%-30% off and not 1/2 price.
In all cases as gt568 says, if you really want to see the show and will be disappointed if you don't get tickets, book in advance. Booking in advance also means you can select specific seats and know in advance that you will be happy with them.
The $50 deal was a limited time thing in the summer and sold out quite quickly...O was never available on that deal.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
When do the sales start in Vegas? We were there last year from New Years Eve and got tons of bargains but this year we are going 23-27 December. Do they start on boxing day like over here?? Can anyone help?? :jUndefeated Wii Fit ski jump champion!

They do...but be prepared for the chaos.
Be sure to get up relatively early and go to the hotel's gift shop to get a paper so you can peruse the ads and plan your strategy.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

As always, would double check with the rates you can get at the hotel by booking direct before booking with a 3rd party.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
