Im off to Vegas in Early June for 5 nights planning to stay at the Strat ( £242 for 5 nights from expedia )
Edited because I've gone stupid...
that's seems quite expensive...unless it's a big weekend (fight weekend, big convention)...have you checked the rate with the hotel directly?
As for your question about jacuzzis...Imperial Palace have their 'Luv Tub' rooms that might fit the bill...IP is also a much better location than the Strat...may be worth looking into - https://www.imperialpalace.com.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
I think it probs is a bit cheaper at the strats own website but nothing firmly booked yet so can always do that instead.
The 'Luv Tub' sounds great and reasonable too........
Anyone got any other ideas as we may get hitched in Vegas too and how we can use that to our advantage..........Freebies!!
Thanks in advance,
Scott0 -

All this talk of upgrades and suites got me thinking. Does anyone know of hotels that do decent priced rooms/suites with jacuzzi's? If your gonna enjoy vegas why not do it in style!
Any help would be appreciated.
Scott
Is that price for each of you? if it is it is way to expensive !
Many upgrades available with a $20 tip at check in although prob not to a suite with a jacuzzi0 -

I think many people do the "upgrade fib" and say it`s their honeymoon/wedding anniversary/birthday etc to try and get a freebie.
I certainly did last year in Florida , said it was our honeymoon , and it worked a treat.
We got upgraded to premium economy on the flight and at the car hire desk i got given a new dodge Charger instead of the economy car.
Always worth a try.0 -

prices seem to have shot up in recent days espcially Virgin, i keep getting quotes of £500+ for May and June. i,m hoping this is the the middle time . I.E to late for early deals and too early for late deals.
have to say i,m a bit negative on the whole getting over there at the mo.:(
mate works for virgin so i get staff rates. going barbados in may for £250!!! sweet0 -
nice if you can get it , but it is not excatly available to the rest of us......is it !!!Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0

Hello
I don't know if anyone is able to give me any help or advice
I want to go to Vegas for the October half term plus one week either before or after so I'm looking at 2 weeks anytime between 20th oct and 10th nov
I have a limited budget and would like to stay on or as near to the strip as possible.
I was looking at the Imperial but can't seem to get a quote for 14 days.
Other places I have looked at are the Stratosphere and Circus Circus but they seem a bit far out.
Can anyone point me in the right direction
My limit is £1800 for myself, husband and 16 year old daughter including the flights:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0 -

Good luck with that as the flights are around £600 each at the moment nevermind the hotel. I would have a look at the excalibur which is on the strip and if you have a look back at this thread there is a promotion on this at the moment.0 -
I don't mind flights with 1 stop and they are coming out at around £350 each actually with opodo it was £1,052.70 for the 3 flights
that leaves me with £800 for 3 of us for 14 days.....can it be done???:hello: LORRAINE :hello:0
