Hi Guys
I booked the aladdin deal - 14 nights for £525 and i got the confirmation on screen but i've not had an email conf yet - has anything else had one? It's now been nearly 2 days and i'm getting worried! Not planning on keeping all the reservation anyway, as am hoping for a good ceasers place one nearer the time, but it was so cheap!0 -
Baz wrote:I've been looking at 3 nights from 3 July in the Venetian, standard room and I've come across a hotel only deal at virgin for £249 (£83 per night). Which is the best I've seen by quite a margin. Is that likely to be a good price, considering the dates? And should I snap it up? I'm twitching to book it to be honest. 3% quidco cashback aswell. :T
Also looking for 2 nights at the bellagio on 18 and 19 July but cant seem to get lower than £128 per night at the moment. Is that a good price?
Its part of our honeymoon so I dont have any flex on the dates and dont want to leave it too late booking.
The direct BMI flights from Manchester are stubbornly staying at £600 each as well. Any ideas if these prices will come down at all? And does anyone know what the £50 seat upgrade gets you?
Thanks in advance.
Baz, the Venetian price is a good one and while you might get lower closer to the time you never know, especially as the 4th July is covered. (Obviously a holiday in the USA but as its midweek, won't be as busy as the national holidays that fall on Mondays). Without the July 4th factor midweek in July is usually a "suite special" quiet period with prices from $129-139 upwards. BTW, the standard suite there is a split level suite and trounces the standard Bellagio room in every way! If you are after luxury I'd personally go for the Venezia concierge level but its costly!
Haven't stayed in the Wynn yet but casino/restaurants are top notch, but thats no indication of the room comfort level.
Bellagio standard rooms are poor value for money imho compared to other places (no doubt they are very good rooms but nothing special for the dosh). With it being your honeymoon you are probably after a lake view
and if you want the same sort of quality room as you will have had in the Venetian you will either have to get the money out or be very lucky at check-in!
What days are you flying out/in?0 -

I kinda thought it was a good price. So Ive now booked those 3 nights at the Venetian for £249. They actually had the venezia bella suites for £100 more but decided against that as the cost is starting to mount.
We fly out on 3 July and fly back on the 20th staying 3 nights at the venetian before we fly to SFO for 3 then drive to Yosemite and then down the coast via carmel, santa barbara, LA and San diego before flying back to vegas for the last two nights.
So its the last 2 nights Im looking at now 18th and 19th July. I was thinking of somewhere different which is why the bellagio seemed the ideal choice. The lake view room is £127 per night at the moment, but if thats quiet time I may wait on that for a while.
Also considering Ceasars and Wynn. Dont want to be two far North or South if possible.0 -

Apart from the fly to SFO (we drove through Death Valley, stopped in Bishop and then wesnt east/west through Yosemite) thats just about the same trip as we did a few years ago. Plenty of time to make the trip unrushed....and leaves all the National Parks east of vegas for your anniversary visit!0 -

I actually wanted to do that but found we didnt have enough time to do it so cut the drive from LV out and we are now flying to SF instead. Got to say really looking forward to it.
Where did you stay on the coast? We have something sorted for Carmel but have two stops scheduled but cant decide, Santa Barbara and LA are obvious choices but we just cant decide where to stay yet.0 -

That's a good deal as I think that their casino rate (for players who qualify) is normally $70...rooms are huge, too (about 450 square feet)...have stayed there several times and we really like it...though the renovated rooms are much, much nicer than the non-renovated rooms...so worth asking for a renovated room upon check in...they will sometimes give it without an extra charge.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
