Tiscali are about to reduce their broadband to £19.99 per month.
When I told them I'm leaving they dropped it down to £17.99 per month without me having to sign a new contract.0 -

Pipex are not the cheapest provider but they are stioll good value and they own two of the fastest ISPs out there according to adslguide.org.uk's monthly speed est results - Pipex and Nildram. They are a very large company so there is no chance of them going under having problems such as the Gio fiasco, a lot of small companies will be affected by BT's change in Datastream and IPstream pricing which favours large companies like Pipex. I have found their support to be excellent. When i initially got connected they sent me a letter which also included everything i needed to enter for my home wireless netowrk, this is a company that does the thinking for you, they send you the stuff before you have to ask them for it. I give a real thumbs up.
Bulldog have been having problems lately but i saw an offer 2day for the unbundled 4meg service includign line rental for £30. considering BT's line rental is £11.50, this works out at £18.40 for 4meg downloads and 400k uploads. Apart from this if you are in a cable broadband enabled area, you will probably get a faster service for less money. NTL will be doing 1mb for £17.99, "mb for £24.99 and 3mb for £37.99Sarah x0 -

To SamShah re " Pipex are not the cheapest provider" - you are right there.
I changed from Nildram to ADSL4less some weeks ago now - both being 512k unlimited svcs/fixed ip etc etc. .
I have also saved myself just under 15 quid a month. My website has lots of info and photos from various Greek and Canary Islands esp. about walking. My profile has the site address cos not allowed to put it here.0 -
how much is your adsl4less then? reliability, speed etc?Sarah x0

am paying 14.99 incl vat for 512 no restrictions. i.e. same facility as previously with Nildram - that was 23.99 month excluding vat so like I said its about half the cost.
Had 4less service since November - no outage showing on logs. DNS servers very fast - all seems fine.
think they are a Hot Chilli company
Matter of interest maybe also, I took a .com out myself with 123reg (who I think funnily enough maybe connected to Pipex), anway this was about 19 quid for 2 years, thus stopping the 3 quid/month i had been paying nildram for my old .co.ukMy website has lots of info and photos from various Greek and Canary Islands esp. about walking. Washbelly, You asked me for a gmail invite which I sent to you, you failed to accept it, I sent you another email reminding you, again not even a reply. I think this is a little mean as there are quite a few people on here that would have liked it, and it cannot be issued twice. When man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0
