    Hi ,
can anyone help with advice please, just been BB enabled and looking for a supplier preferably 1mb uncapped. Have read most of the threads on this page/topic and I seem to favour e7even or maybe v21.
There seem no offers on e7even at the moment, looks as though I am about a month to late. I believe Fangkat mentioned one with adsl for £21.99 but I can only see
512kb when on there site. Any help?
On another point I have been given a new modem by a friend but I am not sure if it is suitable for my use. It is a BTopenworld dsl 3240 broadband business 500 plug & go.It includes modem, installation guide, USB cable,
installation cdrom, 1 x filter, Would I be able to use this.
    Many thanks in anticipation.
  • Just a note. Pay £14.99/month for 1Mb, 1Gb capped but can use more automatically if exceeded, no problem, just pay a little more, have not done so yet. Suits me but appreciate not others. Get antivirus and anti spam included. Was with 512 tiscali at £19.99 so well pleased. ;D each to his own requirement. ::)
The moving finger, having writ, moved on.
  • Hi Folks,

    looking for the following:

    1. 512Mb (or 1Mb) uncapped on a transfer from Pipex, currently looking at ADSL4Less courtesy of your recommendations in this thread which is £14.99 migration plus £14.99 per month saving me almost £90 on the first year, more thereafter.

    2. The cheapest possible low speed, may be capped, minimum setup fee, no free equipment deal. Just to get the out-laws on some form of adsl so they can bin their dial up and release the phone line. Minimum surfing and downloads.

Thanks in advance for replies, confirmations, new & other recommendations etc etc.

It evolved that adsl4less start you off on 512 (no limits) so that is what they show on their site. I had been with them for about a week when I received an upgrade offer i.e. the 21.99 you mention. Maybe u cud email them and ask if they would kick you off if you migrated at the higher speed immediately.

service wise by the way have had no down time logged by my servers so glad I shifted from my previous provider (Nildram) cos its so far good provision and at half the price I was paying.

  • Stevepicks Hello
This is an old post: (But there is something more......

Just wanted to get the extra detail here as part of the chat forum part of the site to be as up front and honest as I can
My thing is broadband. I won't retale all of the history of me and other broadband providers as it is very lenghty and boring
simply I think that ADS (or e7even) are the Cheaper and best Broadband alternative at the moment
I signed an agreement with them to introduce people to them, but I changed the finders fee of £10 for me to a voucher of £10 to the customer instead
You may think I am mad, but it has not cost me anything and I want to say thank you to this site that has saved me money in the past

You need to put in the code of 500012 when signing up
Take a look at https://www.adsbroadband.com and check out the prices. They frequently have sales on so they keep their prices lower than anyone else.

As of 13th December they are introducing 1mb for the same price as 512k for the first few hundred lucky people. It just gets better and better!!!!!

Don't forget that code and get the extra £10
    enjoy surfing and saving !!!!!

  • Stevepicks - check out e7even - I have been a customer for 4 months now with no problems. Their support is really good, and they throw in static ip address, a .uk domain name and hosting too ! Yearly contract works out at 26.66 per month uncapped. They usually have good deals on (not at the moment) but keep an eye on my referrers thread detailed in my signature below for the next offers - or check the e7even website.
    To infinity and beyond!
  • Following the discussions on this site I opted to go with Metronet and I am pleased that I did, I am not a user who downloads lots of stuff and my average bill is around about £14.

I recently had an e-mail from Metronet about price changes, the prices are in effect be reduced it is now possible to increase the speed to 1mb for only £11.70 or 2mb for £15.96, both of these prices exclude VAT and the usual rates apply if the 200mb limit is exceeded but at a 0.25p/Mb it still excellent value.

I'm also happy with the service that they provide.
