Having seen this post and replying I had a 500ml of full fat coke (my vice) yesterday morning at work. In the afternoon I had a bottle of mineral water only and then at 6 I had to go to my evening shift at supermarket so had a 330ml can of full fat coke to keep me going. Not fantastic but I usually get through 2ltrs of the stuff a day at least so pretty good for a first day. I currently have a 500ml on the go this morning but hope to have water again this afternoon. Small steps but a vast improvement for me. Sorry to go on, just wanted to post it as I am pleased with myself.Total Debt now £22,525.07 Start Debt £32,732.36

Yay for you! My mum keeps saying small steps are better than none, and it's a slow process to change your habits and mental process.
Yesterday i was proud of myself, the only fizzy stuff I had was about 200ml I had to finish of a bottle of coke I'd already opened. Instead I had a carton of pure apple, a pint of raspberry/grape with ice and a cup of green tea! As I normally can't stand tea at all that was a real achievement. It all still has loads of sugar but I'm thinking it's betetr than coke with the caffiene and the fizz.
Today not been so good as I had acan of irn bur with my fish supper for tea but am now on Appletiser - expensive but it's fizzy without having any nasties in it!0 -

Hi
No time to post mid-week (work IT have stopped access to the forum site on the work PC!) but today is my 4th day without any coke! I have made an effort to get back to drinking water instead. I don't have cravings as such (a lot of the time I drink the caffiene free anyway) but its just more of a habit...
Keep it up folks!0
