Went out for a meal at Nandos last night, and the other half ordered the usual 2 bottomless diets cokes....

I waivered for just a moment there....

But changed mine to a bottle of mineral water instead! Now on diet free coke day number 11!
  • 2 weeks today since i gave up, had a struggle yesterday as was at the pub and can't drink alcohol for a bit under Dr's orders so would normally drink diet coke and really wanted to but decided on the J20's

so now 14 days no diet coke

    money saved £33.60 ( I THINK)

Day 9 and I'm still off too. Minor headaches now, but not as bad as last time I gave up.

Think about what you will save on dental bills, even Diet fizzy drinks are very acidic and will damage your teeth considerably!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Well done everyone. :) I am a Dr. Pepper addict, but I won't be giving up this year. I tried a few times, and finally decided that since I don't smoke and don't drink and eat fairly healthy, I would allow myself one vice. I try to keep it to one or two cans a day though.

I get this too. Weird huh? When you wake up at night and feel thristy nothing seems to work expect DC. I'm getting good at telling my brain not to be so stupid now. I find it passes after 30 mins or so, so I just have to be strict with myself.
