Good luck Will, I know how you feel. I drink a can of full sugar coca cola every day, it has to be coca cola any other brand just is not the same. You have inspired me to give up starting tomorrow. Need something stronger than coke after West Ham got thrashed earlier today.Amazon No:170

Im addicted to Coca Cola ( now drink coke zero or diet coke if its available). The thing is i only like to have a coke when im eating. So i tend to have around 3 cans a day. (only with meals). I think having coke is better then drinking, so its my only fault!!! I think life is too short to cut out things you enjoy, AND i enjoy coke with my food!!!0

I love Diet Coke, used to be on 2-3 cans A DAY (the bottled stuff just doesn't taste the same!) but now down to a can every 2-3 days.
As others have said, it's bad for the bones, and being a woman of child-bearing age with a MASSIVE family history of osteoporosis, I'm rather conscious of the need not to wreck my bones unnecessarily!
This thread may be of interest to all other Diet Coke quitters...

I drink 2-3 cans of diet cola plus several glasses from a bottle at home PLUS several cups of black coffee per day!!!! I have not had coffee for 2 days but have had cola. I need to cut out caffine but I was thinking I would do it one step at a time - ie no coffee this week, then reduce the amount of cola next week. So will be joining you in your challenge next week if that's ok.0

I was going to start by staying "you must be mad for pouring so much of that crap down your neck everyday, do you know how much damage you're doing to yourselves?" before remembering I only recently quit smoking 20-30 fags a day, then getting a reality check

Caffeine addiction has never bothered me at all. I have a bit of coke in my Jack Daniels (and that's a rare occurence anyway), but I can take or leave it in general - same with tea and coffee.
I don't think there's many positive things to say for coke though, is there? Whether it's your heart, your teeth, your bloodstream. It's all junk.
I guess I'll take my Jack daniels neat from now on. :rotfl:0 -
i used to be addicted to coca cola, 4 bottles a day, £1 each. I have seriously cut down now, i have 2 cans of tesco own brand cola every day which is still quite bad, ive bought a big bottle of orange squash for my desk so there is no temptation to buy cans of cokeMarried my amazing hubby on 8th September 2012 :j:j0
